On my birthday, me and friends decided to go here on a whim to taste some authentic Italian food. Best choice we've ever made. I ordered a parmesan & truffle chips as a starter (just to see what it tasted like), a penne genovese as a main and cannoli for desert. My friends ordered salt & pepper calamari, garlic crust and a mozzarella pepperoni stick as a starter and a margarita pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, a pizzaiolo loaded chips, a peri burger and a cheesy bacon loaded chips as our mains. We also had a glass of apple juice and a litre of cola which we later refilled. Unfortunately, we underestimated how MASSIVE these meals were going to be. The mozzarella pepperoni stick itself was 1 metre long. And the sheer amount of food was overwhelming. Despite this the food was very well made and was obviously done with care. Every bite of my parmesan & truffle chips was very tasty and filling. It was at this point once all the starters had been brought out that we might not have enough room on our table and we started to dread the mains. Then they brought the starters. For a restaurant that was very busy when we were there, the food came out extremely quickly and each main still tasted high quality. But now my friends and I were panicking about how we could fit everything onto our table. That's when the staff came over and gave us another table to place all the food on. They were extremely nice while doing so. We ate for a while but realised it was getting too late and yet again we started to panic because after almost 40 mins we had still barely eaten all of the starters, and the mains had still not been touched. We really didn't want to waste the food so we decided to ask the staff if they had takeaway boxes we could use. Not only did they bring a lot of takeaway boxes for us to use, but they were also extremely nice and pleasant about it. Now it came for the most dreaded part. The bill. The original price was going to be ~$300. A massive amount of money we knew we couldn't pay. But yet again, a staff member gave us a member discount lowering the price to ~$270 (an amount we could pay). And so we paid, took the food we had placed into takeaway boxes and went. I absolutely recommend this place, we came here on a whim without a booking but was treated very nicely by the staff and the food was excellent and came out quick. Please come here its genuinely good (just make sure you don't order too much like us lol)

Exceptional Dining Experience at Criniti's Karrinyup If you're looking for an outstanding Italian dining experience, Criniti's Karrinyup should be at the top of your list. Our recent visit was marked by exceptional service, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere that made for a memorable evening. Ambiance and Service From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant boasts a modern yet cozy interior with beautiful Italian-inspired decor. The vibe was lively and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both couples and families. The service at Criniti's Karrinyup was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our waiter provided excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The Menu and Food Main Course: Lamb Ribs and Buffalo Wings: I opted for the lamb ribs and buffalo wings, and I was not disappointed. The lamb ribs were tender and succulent, with a rich glaze that was bursting with flavor. The buffalo wings were perfectly cooked, offering a delightful combination of heat and tanginess, complemented by a tangy blue cheese dip. Pasta: My wife chose one of the pasta dishes, which was a true highlight. The pasta was cooked to perfection, al dente as it should be, with a savory sauce that was rich and full of flavor. Each bite was a testament to the quality and authenticity of Criniti's Italian cuisine. Dessert: We decided to skip dessert on this visit as we were quite satisfied with our main courses. However, the dessert menu looked enticing, and we look forward to trying some sweet treats on our next visit. Overall Experience Criniti's Karrinyup provided an exceptional dining experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere made our evening special. Whether you're a fan of Italian cuisine or just looking for a great place to dine, Criniti's Karrinyup is a must-visit. We can't wait to return and explore more of their delightful menu offerings.

I visited Criniti’s on Saturday for lunch, and wow—what an unforgettable experience. The food quarter was buzzing, but it was the mouth-watering scent of fresh garlic bread floating through the air that led us straight to Criniti’s like a couple of cartoon characters drifting on a delicious breeze. Even though the place was packed, we decided to try our luck and queued up behind one couple. The hostess let them know they were fully booked and the only table they had available would have a 45-minute dining window—the couple weren’t too pleased and grumpily declined. But as soon as they walked away, she greeted us with the warmest smile and offered us the same table. We happily accepted and were genuinely grateful just to be seated—she seemed equally thrilled by our enthusiasm visually relaxing when we said we would LOVE to take that table even though it was only 45 mins. The menu? Massive. We were spoiled for choice but finally settled on garlic bruschetta, truffle pizza, and tortellini in a white cream sauce. And let me tell you—that pasta was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The truffle pizza was super rich (a bit too truffley for our personal taste), but still absolutely delicious. The wood fired pizza base is something I’ve been dreaming of for the last few days since 😅 The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy. Staff were everywhere—clearing tables, checking in with customers, and keeping the service flowing smoothly. At one point, they sang happy birthday and brought out a cake so big it could’ve fed a whole village—it was such a fun moment. And the cocktails? Incredible. Seriously, I’m already planning to book my birthday lunch here… and it’s five months away! I can’t wait to have the giant mango cocktail tower 😋 Criniti’s, you are now my favourite spot. See you again very soon!

My sister and I dined at the Karrinyup venue yesterday evening. We were quite excited, given the place appeared very full and buzzing. Unfortunately we returned home feeling ill, ripped off and extremely disappointed.

Upon arrival, we were led to a table outside in the back and handed two food menus. We then received a bottle of water (note: no glasses) and one plate. We had to wait for about five minutes to catch someone’s eye to ask for a drinks menu, and then over another 10 minutes later for someone to take our order. This also only happened because the large table behind us became irritable at the slow service and stood up out of their seats to grab someone’s attention to be able to order. We ordered bruschetta, truffle and Parmesan fries, salt and pepper squid, and two cocktails.

Whilst waiting for the food, we flagged down another server to ask for glasses for the water. I poured it and took a sip, and then noticed the floating brown specks in the bottle of water.

The bruschetta was brought out first, but to the wrong table. After the server checked with the surrounding tables, we had to flag her down to advise her that it was our dish.

Ten minutes later, our other two dishes were brought out. Again, to other tables. Again, we had to flag down the servers to advise them that it was our meal. When placing down these dishes, the server tried to take my plate with my half finished bruschetta on it, to which I responded that I was still midway through the meal. Regarding the quality of the food, we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish either of the latter dishes. The chips were, quite honestly, a rip off for $18.90. Overcooked and lacking in Parmesan and any flavour, we were very disappointed. The squid was oily and overcooked, and left me feeling ill and squeamish the entire night. My sister ended up waking up midway through the night with food poisoning.

Our drinks were brought out about five minutes after our mains. For the third time, they were taken to the wrong table. For the third time, we had to flag down the servers to advise them that this was part of our order.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, our first sip tasted overwhelmingly like hand sanitiser. We flagged down another server to ask for lemonade to be added to try and make it palatable.

During this time, we noticed the table behind us repeatedly ask for their missing meals, and noticed servers delivering other meals to the wrong tables.

I understand teething issues are inevitable, and training new staff can take time. However, this dining experience fell in far below what anyone could and should expect from a ‘multi-award winner of 'Australia's...

I’m so upset to be writing a negative review after enjoying food at this restaurant several times in the past, but after the experience I’ve had I feel compelled to advise other people. We arrived a few mins early to our booking host at the stand was lovely, after being sat we were asked what we’d like to order, ordered our sides (wood fired bread) and some drinks and asked if we could wait to order our mains as we’d like to eat sides first, was told this would be no issue and our sides would be out shortly. I’m a type 1 diabetic and have to pre administer my insulin before eating so as I was told it wouldn’t be long I did give myself insulin. We sat for 30 mins on an empty table with no one checking in on us, it was only after I went to get up to ask what was going on we were laughed at and advised they had given our food to the wrong table. From then on the original server avoided our table shooting us dirty looks and quite frankly being a little immature. A different waiter then brought out our mains only 5 mins after the original starters came out. It was missing my side which I had paid extra for so I politely asked if the order had gone through and if it was coming. The new waitress ROLLED HER EYES AT ME and said yup it’s coming while her arms were crossed. Was entirely inappropriate and rude. From there none of the wait staff checked in on us or asked if we needed anything, I again went to get up out of my seat to ask for assistance for to go containers for a male member of staff to lean over two tables to essentially throw the container at us. I am genuinely so disappointed and upset as I love the food here and up until now have had no issues with the service, I’ve worked in hospitality for many years. I spent 130 dollars on cold food and terrible service, when I went up to the host stand to pay they essentially just wordlessly waived an eftpos machine at me didn’t even make an effort to address the service I had received. I was never once inappropriate or rude, but did ask the host where I could submit feedback due to the dangerous and abysmal service I have received tonight to be told “so sorry darling maybe on the app??” I don’t believe I will be back which was sad as I was originally intending on en mass ordering food for myself and my fiances engagement party, tonight was supposed to be to try some of the food we wanted for our guests and will sadly have to...
