The service we received from the staff member was great, but the quality of so called "Italian" food was a joke. We ordered the Alfredo which was bland and required the addition of salt to make it tasty. The second dish we ordered was $23 for the Polpette which was described on the menu as "Italian style beef meatballs cooked in napoli sauce". This dish was so dry, it was apparent the meatballs weren't cooked in the sauce as they were dry and firm in texture. As the photo shows, there was barely any napoli sauce in the pasta, it was so dry and bland. To call this dish an Italian meal is offensive. After one mouthful we sent the dish straight back to the kitchen. Personally, unless this establishment steps up their game and employs an Italian chef in the kitchen, I don't think they will last very long. We've ate at numerous proper Italian restaurants over the years and this would have to be the worst. If you're wanting proper homemade Italian style food, do not come here. Several other customers returned their food to the kitchen and commented that they would not return. Definitely our first and last time here and an absolute waste of money. Take your money elsewhere where they actually have respect, care and dedication towards the so called "food" they send out of the kitchen. Extremely disappointing!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. From the outside it doesn't look like too much and you might be likely to pass it by. This would not do it justice as once inside it is a very pleasant place to be. We had lunch on a day when our group were the only clients so this affected the atmosphere somewhat. To make up for this the service was very attentive and the food was very good considering we were having the $20 lunch special (available every day). My spaghetti marinara was very tasty with enough seafood to make it well worth the money (note the picture shows the marinara with potato wedges, sorry they were added from a side dish and were yummy). Other diners enjoyed their meals. Staff were able to cater to a gluten free request which was great. Dessert was just ok, strawberries and ice cream only had one strawberry which was disappointing but it was reasonably priced. My crepes with strawberries sorry strawberry and ice cream was fine if a little overcooked. Free parking is available outside the restaurant. Overall we were pleased with our experience and the consensus was that we would be happy to return another time as the value for money was excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Something Italian in Innaloo, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The service provided was nothing short of amazing, and the food was absolutely to die for. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were incredibly attentive throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The food was also utterly divine, each dish we had was amazing! Every bite was a delight! The flavors were rich, authentic, and truly reminiscent of traditional Italian cuisine. I would 100% recommend Something Italian to anyone seeking am amazing Italian meal in Innaloo! The ambiance of the restaurant was charming, the service impeccable, and the food... simply outstanding. I'm already looking forward to my next visit because this place left such a fantastic impression. It's a gem that deserves to be visited time and time again. Thank you, Something Italian— I'll definitely be back soon!
