Jackadder Lake — Attraction in Woodlands

Barbecues everywhere, noisy cockatoos everywhere, and a great place for a family outing. The best part is probably the lovely lake slap bang in the middle of the park—and the sunsets are absolutely gorgeous. There’s also a bunch of places selling stuff nearby. Restaurants, a bakery, plus a cafe and even a supermarket for convenience. It’s just a nice little local area.

Tip: Try to catch the sunsets on a cloudy day, but a warning—they don’t last too long! I’ll share...

A local lake, park and playground that's great for a walk or jog, BBQ or picnic, or to let the kids run amuck in the playground.

There's BBQ and bench table facilities, as well as public toilets. There's also a footpath around the lake that's marked with distance that's a nice addition.

You can find some parking around the lake, and many will park up on the verge...

Beautiful lake to walk or jog around. Family & Pet friendly with a playground & BBQ facilities. Birds & Ducks, weekend toy sailboating.
