We recently had the pleasure of dining at Grabs Restaurant in Mount Lawley, and I can confidently say it was an enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was well thought out, making for a truly enjoyable night.

Parking in Mount Lawley can sometimes be tricky, but Grabs is conveniently located near several parking areas, making it easy to find a spot. The restaurant itself is also very accessible, with a welcoming and well-laid-out space that accommodates all guests comfortably.

The highlight, of course, was the seafood. The seafood boil was absolutely delicious, packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavour. The signature sauces were a standout, perfectly complementing the seafood without overpowering it. We also tried the lobster pasta, which was rich, creamy, and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money.

The atmosphere at Grabs is lively and fun, making it an ideal spot for groups, families, or even a casual date night. The staff were friendly, attentive, and more than happy to recommend dishes based on our preferences.

One of the most unique and enjoyable aspects of our visit was the camera they provide to customers. It’s a fun idea – you get to snap candid moments throughout your meal, and the shots are shared on their social media. It really adds to the interactive and welcoming vibe of the restaurant.

Grabs Restaurant delivers amazing food, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a unique dining experience in Perth, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll likely...

This would have to be one of the least pleasant experiences I have had at a restaurant. Service was atrocious and slow and a complete lack of training was evident in the wait staff. The yabbies and crawfish that I ordered were bland and tasteless to say the least. I would say plain tofu had more flavor, the Special Cajun sauce was not special. Someone needs to go to New Orleans to find out what Cajun means. For the 8 people at my table the time difference between the fresh water combos and the salmon being serve was 20 minutes. The manager on the night tried to explain the problems and even gave us 1 bowl of chips to appease the 3 diners who had ordered chips with their meal.Apparently that bowl was on the house and we would have to pay for extra although the chips were ordered with the meal. I waited 15 minutes for a 2 scoops of ice cream, only because a staff member had to go to the local supermarket to buy a tub of ice cream. When I had to ask where my 2 scoops were they started to bring over a partially melted bowl with ice cream dripping down one side. I refused this, we were given our bill before we were served our deserts. I normally don't do a review of the restaurants we go to however this was...

We live only minutes away from Grabs, so decided to get take away for an occasion I'm not sure if I got them on an off night or if they've changed. We ordered the fishermen basket, kids garlic prawns, fried chicken, lobster pasta and 1/2 doz grilled oysters. Oysters were ok. Small and just ok, wouldn't re-order. Fried chicken was the stand out, was really nice. Lobster pasta was nice but it only had like a 1/4 of a tails worth of meat in it.. I just think if you're going to call it a lobster pasta it should at least have more than 2 bites worth in it. Kids portion was on the pricey side and prawns over cooked. Fishermen basket was a huge let down. The it was just not worth the $71, note that price has gone up, I got the garlic butter: it was like jars ofvminced garlic were thrown in melted butter and oil without any Seasoning, flavour.. nothing. Prawns and half a bug tail was over cooked. Since then I went through the reviews on here, I noted that only months ago it was a bit cheaper and they put a whole bug tail in. Now it's gone up in price and half a tail in it. A bit ridiculous honestly! I'd only give it one star and not zero because of the chicken. I wish I had saved my money and just gotten a...

April 2021 update: The NZ mussels are just as plump and delicious as last time! We tried it with the "Tangy Red" Singaporean sauce, it was just as flavoursome as the XO sauce but also quite sweet, which worked well with the other flavours. Fried chicken wings were covered in a super delicious sauce, the menu said honey soy but it tasted very different to other honey soy glazes, in a good way. The pho broth was excellent! Unfortunately the noodles weren't very good, they were soft and big clumps of short, broken noodles. For $16 it doesn't compare to other pho places in Perth. Lovely service as usual and our food came out much faster than expected, maybe only a 15 minute wait. We'll definitely be back. -- NZ mussels with XO sauce was so flavoursome and delicious! The Vietnamese beef salad was tasty too, though I accidentally ate a chilli and it was very hot so watch out! Will definitely be back to try their other menu items :)

We've been wanting to try this place for a while, as my husband and I love seafood. Tonight, we came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ordered the platter for two with the tangy sauce (which is similar to the Singaporean chilli crab sauce). The platter also came with rice and garlic bread. The seafood was delicious and fresh, and the sauce was tasty without being too spicy, as we ordered it mild. We enjoyed the seafood and soaked up the sauce with the rice and garlic bread. The corn and potatoes cooked with the seafood were a nice surprise, as was the boiled egg. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain the menu since it was our first time dining here. They also provided us with gloves and bibs, which we definitely needed as we got quite messy!! Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience indeed 😊
