I came in for a snack on Sunday night around 8.20pm, I had ordered 2 Lahmacun with salad and placed my order at 8.25. There was no customers waiting before us as they had people dining in and they already had their food. About 10mins later a group of 3 people came in and got their food before us, keep in mind all 3 people had ordered something. My friend and I started to stare like ‘what is going on’ and they then asked us what we were waiting for? Before we had time to reply he said ‘oh yeah the 2 lahmacun it’s coming now’. We waited another 15mins, all I could see was the workers cleaning. We received our food at around 9pm so overall my friend and I waited no less than 35mins for a very small order! All they said was sorry about the wait. First of all I would have understood if they were busy and had customers before us waiting... but there was no one! I work in the area of hospitality and we should have been compensated with a bit of extras for example, not just a ‘yeah sorry bye now’. Customer service is an important thing and well this business doesn’t have it. Good food means nothing if the service isn’t up to scratch and you have...
Read moreI had a great visit to Antep Mangal and tried their Mixed Shish Plate, the flavors were absolutely delightful, bursting with richness in every bite. However, the service was a bit slow, likely due to the Eid rush. While understandable, the outdoor tables were sticky, which could have been better managed.
I also tried their Ayran, which was decent, though nothing exceptional. The dessert selection was limited to Baklava, which was a bit disappointing.
In terms of pricing, the portions didn’t quite justify the high-end cost. While the food quality was impressive, increasing portion sizes would greatly enhance the value for money.
Overall, Antep Mangal is a great place to bring family and guests, but not necessarily a must-visit. If they refine their portion sizes and improve the ambience, I’d gladly give it a 5-star rating. They should consider shifting from a kebab shop to a casual dining restaurant—it could do wonders for their brand and sales.
That said, I recommend trying it if you're reading this, and I’ll definitely return to taste their Adana and...
Read moreJust ordered from here. Was really enjoying my chicken kebab until I had literal rocks in my mouth. Some how you've managed to put rocks in my kebab. This is a major concern. How does this happen?? Please fix your kitchen standards. Do you keep your ingredients on the ground or something? Won't be buying again. You must know how this happened. Thanks
In response to owner: I appreciate your response but this is definitely not bone's. It's gravel. It's 100% gravel and it was in my kebab. I'm not a simpleton, I know what bones are. How can you say with a straight face that this is bones? I called up your store to complain and the person I talked to passes on blame to the uber driver which is ridiculous. It's a kebab double wrapped in paper and put in a paper bag. And now you say it's your meat supplier and looks like bones?...
