Went through the drive through and ordered a Vegan Burger and small Chips. They said we had to drive to the waiting area, we did. Once ten minutes passed my daughter went in to request a refund. They informed her they gave the burger to another car. After another five minutes I entered the store and said why haven't we received a refund? I was informed they gave it to another car. I said i would just like my money back. The person that took over said that it hadn't been given to another car, it just wasn't ready yet (this was at 18minutes after paying). She promptly refunded my money. I pointed out that you need to communicate with cars that are waiting. Either way either the original man lied to us or the lady who refunded us lied. (she said it was a miscommunication) The whole thing took 20 minutes to get my money back. And in that time the burger still wasn't made (seeing as they tried to give me free chips because it wasn't ready yet-which i refused). If a single burger takes over 20 minutes to make you need to have a sign on that product saying so. Or communicate when purchasing with the driver so they don't waste so much of their time.

Because the cooker wasn’t working, instead of telling the people it wasn’t working, they just let us sit there until we had to get out of our car and ask them to move the cars in front of us at 1130. Read moreHi there, I went to Hungry Jacks, Banksia Grove today to use my voucher for 2 veggie whoppers for $10.95. Instead, I got given 2 whoppers. I worked at another hungry jacks for 3 years so I knew that the person who took my order and handed my order was manager. So I didn’t open my bag to check if I’ve got the right order. Few hours later, when I got on my work break around 1:30am, I realised I didn’t get the burgers I order. I was very disappointed to see that. I had a long day and this was supposed to be my dinner to help me get through my night shift. But anyways, I called the store to mention about the incident and instead of getting and apology, I got told that I placed the order wrong! I had worked for hungry jacks for a long time, making burgers, taking orders, packing orders, handing out orders and everything. I completely understand that It is sometimes a stressful environment to work at which increases the chances of making mistake. But it is never wrong to admit that staff sometimes make mistake and its not wrong to apologise or to understand other’s point of you. There was no way I could have gone back to hungry jacks from my work to get burgers again. I am gonna sleep hungry tonight but what disturbed me most was the behaviour of manager towards a customer. It was painful to see how the place I worked at , the one who prioritised customers over anything, is turning to one that does not care about customers...
Read moreI moved to Banksia Grove from Melbourne for good, several months ago and was happy to find a Hungry Jacks very near to home. I've been to so many Hungry Jacks in my life and I have to say, Banksia Grove is by far the best! I'm not sure of all the team members there, but I met one by the name of Sonali (I saw her name tag); she is so lovely when dealing with customers and even her staff. She treats everyone with respect and is so organised, fast, always smiley faced (even when they are busy and under stress). I go through drive through a lot. I've also eaten in the restaurant as well and this actually gave me the opportunity to see more in detail of how the staff and customers are all treated within that fast paced environment. The staff all look happy; they obviously like working there. Inside is so clean and hygienic. The food is always fresh and tasty. I eat from here at least 4-5 times a week. More Hungry Jacks in other suburbs, need to see how well organised, friendly staffed and clean this restaurant is and learn from them. Banksia Grove Team Leaders (Especially Sonali) and staff need to be appreciated. They work so hard to get to this level (it's obvious, when you walk in there).
