Portion size is ridiculous. I had to send my kids fish n chips back because I virtually received just a piece of batter not even a proper piece of fish. My steak was meant to be medium rare but came out medium to well done and very small, I also had to send that back for a properly cooked steak . The kids were meant to receive a bowl of ice cream instead they received a small tub of Paul's frozen solid ice cream. A adult cheeseburger and a kids chessburger meal were also ordered at my table and they were virtually the same size, only difference was the $10 price increase for adults. This is all on a public holiday so no reduced or free food came out, it was all full prices. Not to mention gst is not included in the price of the meals only added at the end, and nothing on the menu says that. Pretty disappointed as I expected so much better than that. Public holiday surcharge applied before gst so payed gst on the surcharge with is a appalling just double dipping, I'm also insulted that the reply suggests I did not know about the surcharge when that is not what the...

Read moreWe booked a table for 4 and then tried to add 2 more people, but were advised there was no room available. Which we accepted it, as it was a busy day. On arriving though there were 7 tables free with more seating, and whilst we ordered and had a few drinks, these tables were still empty. Whilst eating these tables were still empty. On leaving nearly 2 hours later, these 7 tables were still empty with no customers at all sitting around waiting. Also on arriving we were advised our table was upstairs, to which i stated I had an elderly mother with us, who would not make these steps up. Advised I should have stated this with my online booking. Being from Perth did not know tables were upstairs and I have checked on the booking website where it does not state to say customers cannot make the walk upstairs. My mother was very upset with the rudeness of the person directly us and she felt very embarrassed that she had created a problem for the staff member. Hybla requires a new front of service person who thinks before he states...
