Husband and I came here yesterday and had one of the BEST bacon and egg croissants ever. We were very impressed with it and I was also impressed with how nice and friendly the staff were. We decided to come back today to have another croissant, but discovered we were too late for the breakfast menu as it was about 1PM. We thought that wasn't a problem and because we were so impressed yesterday, we decided to dine in this time and look at what the menu had to offer. We ordered the arancini and the steak sandwich. It came to our table quite fast and we thought that was really good, seeing as they had a sign up saying they were understaffed. Unfortunately though, the food did not look very appetising...we paid $16 for 4 of the smallest arancini I've ever seen. In the menu description it said it came with chicken...there was 3 barely visible TINY pieces of chicken on the plate. It looked like what would fall off a whole chicken. However, the arancini was tasty. It tasted a tiny bit burnt to me, but my husband enjoyed it. We also had the steak sandwich with wedges. Safe to say it was definitely not worth $30 for what we got: not a lot of wedges, a steak sandwich with so much greenery you could barely see the steak. Again, it tasted quite nice, we both enjoyed it, but for $30 I would have expected a bit more. Overall, I gave 4 stars because the customer service was really good and I enjoyed the croissant so much! The location is also spectacular.

My review is for the samdwich/cofee place that is also running under three anchor. Ordered a ciabatta sandwich with vegetables however the teller little girl (clearly being trained) must have misunderstood me because instead they prepared me a ham & cheese croissant. When I questioned this upon delivery a woman clearly in charge told me that I was charged for a croissant. So that’s what I will get. Well I didn’t even check how much what where was I just paid with my card and wanted a ciabatta. I felt sorry for the little one and wanting to get her in trouble as I also work in customer services and I know mistakes can be done. However I feel like this could have been sorted out with a winning outcome toward me, just take back the croissant, charge me difference or refund the money and charge me again and prepare me what I ordered. You can’t tell a customer that - they have to eat what is put in front of them cause by mistake you charged and prepare them the wrong! Now imagine if I would have been a VEGETARIAN! Luckily I like a croissant as much as I like a ciabatta! That’s what gave you the 2 stars. Luckily. Pay more attention to what customers are ordering and if you have someone in training then supervise them please. Thank You

The food here can be hit and miss, but mostly hit. The view is good. The burgers are generally good, but one we ordered was terrible. It consisted and many thick batter fried pieces of chicken, with way too much white sauce. See the photo taken before the eat attempt! Problem was when attempting to eat it by hand, the white sauce dribbles everywhere and all over you. You shouldn't need to go to the bathroom twice during your meal to clean off greasy goo, an operation which in this case paper napkins were not equipped to execute. Perhaps the cook added too much sauce by accident? The taste was not bad, but plain. It was not possible to eat it as a burger. A big dang mess. Impractical burger concept. However the veggie burger and chips I had on another occasion were great. Good tasting with the right amount of sauce.

Pretty disappointing! My friends battered fish was cold and thee batter tasted of everything else that was cooked in the oil. The chips were soggy with the same oily taste. She also asked for no salad with her meal, and then half the plate when it arrived was salad. She also had cheesecake and asked for cream and icecream, and when it arrived there was no cream. I had a sweet potato/ avocado salad, with added chicken, that was quite nice. The chicken had grill marks on it but it was very dry!! I couldn't find any of the white balsamic dressing. Having asked for no onion, my salad had heaps red onion in it!! I was disappointed that we still had to order our meals by taking ourselves to the bar where all the other take away and front coffee and cake shop orders are taken, which means there is always a line.... Maybe that's why my friend had finished her meal, what she could eat of it, before my meal, which arrived a good 10mins later!! I can't really understand why as they were on the same ticket / table... I hope that reading this helps you change your system. It's such a beautiful spot, with huge potential. Your guy that runs the nightime is amazing, the food was incredible, and staff were attentive, polite, and on the ball..... if only the lunch shift was like the...
