This review is for TURKISH KITCHEN in GOSNELLS. DANGEROUS AND SCARY EXPERIENCE. They don't listen what you say.The morale of the place is very poor. We paid 40 dollars round off for the order of two meals and its okey because tonight we craved for an open kebab dinner. My husband ordered an open kebab with chicken as meat and requested to have an extra chicken, extra cheese and with extra satay sauce and No Salad please. But what they did? They made him a rolled kebab and when my husband saw it while they were preparing our orders, so he told them that he ordered an Open kebab, not the Rolled kebab. So, they prepared an open kebab but they put Salad on the plate eventhough in the first place my husband said No Salad please. So, my husband again has to tell them to take away the Salad. And they even put mixed meat eventhough my husband ordered Chicken only as his meat. And they did not even put extra of anything as per my husband's instruction. They just dont listen!!! Next, is I personally ordered open kebab with mixed meat and with everything else as per menu picture... everything went well until... as I was eating my meal.... the third time I spooned food in my mouth, I CHEWED a 1.4mm(long) x 0.4mm(wide) debris of a chinese plastic container as i was chewing the rice and meat that I spooned in my mouth...good thing I really chew my food before swallowing. Otherwise maybe i already got a cut on my throat by it or brought to the ER hospital to have it removed if ever it got stuck somewhere in my throat/esophagus. I GOT SO SCARED that I did not even eat the rest of my meal. THE VERY BAD THING was when My husband called one of their men and showed the plastic piece i chewed from their food, the man straight away grabbed the chinese plastic container debris and even insisted that the chipped plastic container is from our plastic coke bottle and plastic water bottle lead (which we bought from their shop as well), but there was even no such damaged in our coke/water bottles. And in the first place the kind of plastic that I chewed is different kind of that from the plastic coke/water bottle. So my husband and I told him and insisted that I CHEWED IT FROM THEIR FOOD AND EVEN TOLD HIM THAT I'M ALREADY SCARED TO CONTINUE EAT THE REST OF THEIR FOOD. So while the guy who served us was just across thr other table eating his dinner, he noticed that I'm not eating my food anymore...he came to our table and asked me if I wanted to have more chicken on my meal coz he said if I want more they will give me more chicken ... but I responded to him: "I DON'T WANT IT, and I'M ALREADY SCARED TO EAT THE REST OF YOUR FOOD." and so he just went away and not even an APOLOGY. Definitely, we never be going into this place again. And definitely we will tell our friends too about this...
Read moreI have been fortunate enough to have travelled some in my life. England, Germany, Portugal, South Africa, New Zealand and now Western Australia and the Kebabs from these guys are hands down the best I’ve ever had….anywhere! Every time we go to Perth we go there at least once. Family owned and all very friendly, accommodating and welcoming always. listening to them chatter away in their language as they work their magic delights my family, especially my daughter every time we go there. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely little restaurant to everybody. Over the years we have tried other items on the menu that were new to us that was also so damn yummy, like their egg, cheese and salami pida and hummus, that they are now regularly added to our order. Last thing… I’ve recommended this restaurant to a lot of friends and coworkers and, like my family and I, ALL who have gone there agree with me as I have no doubt you will too. A true diamond in the rough! And right here in Perth, Western Australia. This is my first...
Read moreI had the best lamb kebab so far in my life here. The bread (my apologies for not knowing the name) is freshly baked and it’s just tender and soft to perfect. They have a huge oven with real fire ready to bake a fresh patch, and I’m fascinated by it. Absolutely god tier. I am ashamed that I didn’t know this place earlier, and I will have to visit them just so I can get that again. I’ve also had their Turkish salad, it is interesting, since I never knew olives and parsley can have such a twist of flavours. It’s a very interesting combination for me, though this might not fit my regular taste (mostly Chinese or Asian food). However, you should definitely try it if you come in with a friend, since it’s a decent big plate too.
Anyhow, will be back for that sweet freshly baked bread. I couldn’t be more grateful about...
