Ok, picture this. Easter Monday at 7pm, rock up to Nandos Aveley. Place an order via the QR code on the table for dine in, receive the usual confirmation email saying we'd have our order by approximately 7:24pm as a best estimate. 7:30 rolls around, no sign of order. 7:45, no sign of order. Finally at 8pm, some 55ish mins after placing the order, 50% of it is plonked on our table, no explanation, no apology, staff rushed away before we could say a word. Ummm ok? Had to go up and ask for the rest of our order which we then waited another 15 mins for. So all in all, we waited for over an hour! The restaurant was a mess, the majority of the staff were not moving with any urgency whatsoever and honestly, the manager on duty was rude as hell and giving other customers lip because they were rightfully upset that they had been waiting for their orders for friggen ages only to be told they couldn't be fulfilled!!! I mean the lady was looking everywhere except at the customers who were speaking to her and I even saw her roll her eyes. Anyway, I understand it's a public holiday and it's going to be busy but shouldn't you let people know how long orders will actually take? And shouldn't you try to not be a jerk to paying customers? I don't know, just a thought. On top of all that, we paid a 15% holiday surcharge! I'd love to know, what on God's green earth for? Typically it's to cover the additional cost of having staff working on a public holiday and I'd be happy to pay it if there was even a shred of decent customer service and we got what we paid for but to say the service was "fair" would be a stretch! Read moreI ordered kids meal and veg pitta today. They gave me wrong order in right bag, I double checked the name on bag , took order and left. When I reached home , saw their missed calls and text msg that the order is wrong and asked me to come back and swap. I had hand injury thats why I was eating outside,I was so tired after the whole day ,my son couldn’t wait to reach home and eat because he had swimming after school in wanneroo, we are almost ready to relax and have meal. And then this happened !!! Nando is 10-12 mins drive away from my house , they wasted my 45 mins and petrol, after I reach there , whole staff was just looking at me and ignoring me. Finally someone came and offered me the old order ( which probably cold now) i asked for fresh one , that staff had conversation with manager …. They were not even in hurry, not felt sorry, i dropped my son at home alone because I had no choice , he was so tired and don’t wanna come with me again. The order I bring back , they kept it , like there was no issue, what If I opened that, what if I touched that??? I requested, please make it quickly , even manager didn’t offer me any complimentary snack, I asked for it. My order was avo goodness, there was no avocado in my pita( in fresh order)I asked again for it … I was regular costumer in Aveley central twice a week or at least once a week since last 5-6 years, but now I have no good feeling going there . Read moreI am dining at Nando’s tonight and I ordered a whole chicken, chips, and a Greek salad. However, there are a few negatives that I want to mention. Firstly, the table tops are filthy, as can be seen in the attached photo. Secondly, the presentation was thoughtless. The chips were served on a separate plate, but it would have been more appealing if they were served on the same plate as our chicken, utilizing the space on the plate and using one less plate. Thirdly, there was only one small aperture to dispose of the napkins, and I had to ask where the rubbish bin was. Fourthly, the ketchup sauce bottles were empty and sticky, indicating that they needed a good clean. Fifthly, the hand washing soap dispenser in the toilet was empty, and there was no soap available to wash our hands. The toilet itself was also dirty, smelly, and disgusting. It was clear that it had not been cleaned in quite some time. Lastly, the salad arrived late, and we were already halfway through our chicken when it finally arrived. I had to ask for it several times. Additionally, the restaurant brought another Greek salad and fries at the end of our meal, even though we had only ordered them once. I believe this was a result of poor management, as our order was not properly recorded or communicated to the kitchen.
On the positive side, there are a few things worth noting. Firstly, the Greek salad was fresh and appetizing. Secondly, the chips were hot and crisp.
