Went there tonight and had a terrible experience. We purchased a Scoopon and called to booked in for dinner. At the time I booked, I specified my scoopon number, that it was for $150, and that it was a special date night for my wife and me. Our booking was locked in by their staff member with full knowledge of all of the above details. We drove 40km to be there, with my wife having spent the whole afternoon getting ready, and when we came through the door expectantly, we were in for a nasty surprise. We spoke to the floor manager in the restaurant, informed him that we had a booking, and confirmed the Scoopon number that he already had in his system. He subsequently informed us of several issues;
We had mistakenly booked a scoopon that could only be used with 4 people. We were unable to use it between 7:30-8:30 on a Saturday night. They were unable to offer us any value for our Scoopon voucher at all, not even our initial purchase price.
We were shocked at this point, particularly given the fact that they knew all of this prior to our booking, offered no solutions, and refused to give us any value for our scoopon purchase price. The icing on the cake was the rude and pretentious manner with which we were treated and the blank stares when we asked how we could make the best of the situation. Shocking treatment by the floor manager, worst service weâve experienced in Perth by a good stretch.
NB: it should be noted that when we called back to get the name of the floor manager, we spoke to Tiago in the bar area who seemed more accommodating, and offered to rebook us for another night. Whilst this went some way to addressing their lack of grace, it would have been a night ruined if we hadnât been able to book with the gorgeous staff at Down-The-Hatch in Joondalup. Thanks for saving our...
   Read moreSaturday night a couple of my friends and I lined up at Niche Bar waiting to get our IDâs scanned. Seemingly, one of my friends had a history of conflict with the lady scanning IDâs (victim of the situation and didnât occur within her working environment). Once at the front of the queue the lady bellowed âI donât want any trouble tonightâ, my friend responded before even realising who she was âI donât know who you are why would I cause troubleâ then only to respond âthatâs it, these girls will cause troubleâ and exclaimed that we werenât allowed in. Using your employment status as a means to end someoneâs night, or make them feel uncomfortable to even think of attending the bar because of a personal vendetta, completely unrelated to their professional environment is immature and unacceptable. I donât believe that this âpower playâ was professional or the correct approach to adopt as it has now affected my views on the bar. Admittedly, after the incident I didnât approach the situation in the right manor myself, as I demanded a sit down with their staff, however the response I was given after clearly expresses their clear lack concern and care regarding...
