Have been going to this place on and off, for months. Friendly PATIENT staff. Always helpful. Even when, on the odd occasion another patron behaved like a sugar fuelled toddler. I am not a tall, blonde, entitled brat ( one of those was there today). Being attractive and female does not automatically jump you to the head of the queue. Nor does talking down to the staff make you the pin up girl to the staff. It is busy And popular. I eat out, a lot. Never had this top level of service until I came here. I was trying to buy drinks and order a meal but her majesty ( blonde AND entitled) took up the whole section of the bar. Threatening and bullying the staff. She wanted what she wanted. NOW. I have never understood that type of behaviour. She was disrupting service, upsetting customers with her offensive manner. She was quite, politely asked to leave. She stormed off and, in my opinion sent this poor little whipped husband ( one assumes they were married) to SORT OUT THE PROBLEM AND THE INSULT TO HIS WIFE. Give me a break, she was being a cow, again in my opinion, making people uncomfortable. Go there, enjoy have a great time hordes do Becky but with an E, delightful funny charming and efficient- doesn't hold a grudge I would after that entitled piece of gear treated her as an enslaved object. Still, don't let some overmade up harpy put you off When she flounced off and I placed my order. Oysters. Yay. More than 5...

We eat out frequently & enjoy trying new venues. Oyster Bedz was recommended by a Mandurah local. We booked online for 7pm. The place was pretty deserted and there seemed to be quite a few staff around. Firstly we weren’t ushered to our table, instead the waitress pointed in the general direction of where to find our table. Having decided what we wanted to order we waited & waited for our order to be taken & eventually went up to the bar to order. We still can’t fathom whether there is table service or not! The food arrived - the mains, no entree. When we asked about the entrees we ordered, we were told it was on its way. The waitress seemed put out that we didn’t want it all at the same time & took the mains back to the kitchen. After we had our entree, the mains returned. No offer of water to be brought to the table at any point. The food was ok, nothing earth shattering. A group of 5 arrived, sat down and waited and waited. Nobody approached them or brought any menus - they walked out and went to the restaurant next door - good move! Despite the lovely view across the marina, we felt uninclined to linger and left as soon as we finished. I’m writing this review because we have so much to show case in WA and venues like Oyster Bedz could thrive, instead experiences like this drags down WA...

My beer was flat and I had to return it. My main came out 15 minutes before everyone else, so I had to eat it, I was finished before anyone else's meal arrived. Mine and everyone else's meals arrived out of order, I received my main then my oysters and then my entree after everyone else had there mains. My main meal was supposed to be crispy pork belly. It was soggy, overcooked to the point of being like boot leather, it was cold although coming our very quickly. The oysters were ok but not enough to save the rest of the meal. My entree was supposed to be Korean fried chicken it was not crispy and quite dry even with the mayonnaise provided. It had a strange coating which was more like a fish batter which was quite unpleasant on chicken. Finally when I was nearly finished my entree when my replacement beer arrived at least it was cold and not flat. We had a party of 10 people, we were jammed onto 2 small square tables which were very cramped with little to no movement available around them, if anyone needed to move all along that side of the 2 small tables needed to move to allow them out. Overall a very poor dinning experience for such an expensive meal I cannot recommend this...

It pains me to leave a less than 5 star review for this place. For the last 18 months or so after moving to this neck of the woods, we have visited this place regularly and always have the seafood tasting plate which we have thoroughly enjoyed. I recommended it to friends of ours who finally went and were less than impressed. Fair enough, everyone is different we thought. But then we visited again last week, and our beloved seafood tasting platter isn’t what it used to be. You used to get 4-5 pieces of salmon each, now it’s just one each. The quality of the prawns is not as good as they used to be, You even used to get a lot of cornichons, this last time we had 2. We always order a side of chips to go with it, and they’ve even changed these, they’re horrible now We understand everything has gone up in price. We’d much rather pay more to have it how it used to be. We absolutely love going to this place. We’ll definitely give it another go soon, but please put this platter back to how it used to be EDIT: We just came back from Oysterbedz on 7th April 2024 and it was fantastic. Super fresh seafood, chips fantastic. 5 stars once again. Here’s hoping it remains that way this time 😊

I went to Oysterbedz on a Monday night and the restaurant was relatively empty, with only three tables being occupied. Order is at the counter, which seems to be the norm around Ocean Bay Marina. The oysters came promptly and were nicely presented. Three, out of the six, oysters had small parts of their shells chipped and I ended up having to remove these small shell particles from my mouth — this was unpleasant and I almost broke a back tooth when it first happened. A restaurant, specialising in oysters, should know better! The Barramundi was beautifully cooked, however, the potato mash was dense, yet, tasty. The two guys, who worked there that night, were both really good to deal with and offered a really nice service with a genuine smile. The champagne pour was the best with my glass being filled right to the very top, which, of course, I enjoyed. I’ll give Oysterbedz another go on my next visit in October. Hopefully, I’ll catch a sunset too while dining there.

A friend and I spend a few hours down at the Oysterbedz late Friday afternoon, we ended up demolishing 24 oysters between the 2 of us, Garlic bread and a cauliflower salad, plus a few cheeky cocktails (more like 4 or so each) that were absolutely delicious ($10 cocktail happy hour between 5-6) The oysters were fresh and delicious, we got 6 each of the fresh French and Alantic oysters and also 6 each of the Kilpatrick and grilled oysters Well done to the staff 👏 you guys have great customer service, quick at making the cocktails and the food comes out super quick too even when it's busy Highly recommended Oysterbedz
