The service for this restaurant is pretty much non-existent. From the moment when we walked in to the moment we walked out, there was no customer service unless we went to the counter and asked.

We walked into the restaurant, and no one seemed interested to sit us down. we stood by the door for 5 mins, and countless wait staff walked past us, but no one seemed interested. It felt as if they were deliberately trying to avoid us. The only way we knew that the table was for us was because we had a reservation and we saw our table with our name on it as it was right next to the entrance. We didn't want to help ourselves to the table as it felt a little awkward, so we have decided to try and get someone's attention. We waited around our table, whilst awkwardly holding a cake in our hands for a further 10 minutes, and decided to queue up with the customers that are paying for the meal just so they know that we are here and for them to take our cake and put it in the fridge. Told a waiter that we needed a baby seat as per the reservation, which he acknowledged, but forgot about us and I ended up getting the baby seat myself

After we seated, no one gave us menus (which we went to the counter and helped ourselves) and no one served us. this was while wait staff were walking all around us. When we finally get get our food and finished eating, we asked for the cake as it was for a birthday. we literally get given back the cake in the box. No plates, no cutlery, nothing, whilst expecting us to cut a cake with a butter knife and a table full of dirty plate and dishes. When we decided to ask someone for a few plates for the cake, the waitress rolled her eyes at us, which i thought was really rude.

All in all, food has deteriorated since they moved to the new location, service is horrible, staff lacks training as they don't seem to know or care about what needs to be done. I have been a returning customer since their old location, and been a few times since they have moved to the new location, hoping that they will slowly improve, but it doesn't seem to be but instead going the other way. Unfortunately not sure if I will be...

Guys, please don’t waste your hard earned money in this restaurant. This is the third to fourth time issues that’s why these need to be addressed.

Foods - not nice, meats of pork kawali and chicken inasal have been recycled since few days and still they’re serving to the customers.

Scenarios on different occasions because I support Filipino business but still to my dismay…

Pork kawali - I informed to the front staff that the pork meat was so hard like it was yesterday’s or few days back meat and still they deep fried and served to us, he gave me 20% discount on that as a remedy. We took it for take away instead as still 80% was there because one won’t wanna eat it, but at home, you really can’t eat it, hard earned money wasted.

Chicken inasal - I informed to the staff that the meat is not tender, like it’s not fresh, felt like recycled from few days back that they just warmed again. What they did was gave us new one, we did take away for that as we waited for it to be made up again. When we ate it at work, same state. Too tired to complain.

Service - 2 lady staffs were disrespectful, with attitude problem. Takes time to serve the food even if there were less customers only. That’s why a lot of customers are reviewing you worst since few years back, you can read them, but seems no action has been taken instead of catering to the needs of your customers, you didn’t even take time to know what truly happened and make customers look and feel they’re wrong. You created business to cater to customers, did you check how your staff handled the situation? If you were the customer, you will not feel happy for sure. And you just assumed that the customer is disrespectful, seriously?

You need to improve and think about the customers, you guys don’t embody the...

Ordered two different boodle sets, All Meat and All seafood. Priced at around 125aud each. Plus lomi supah which costs around 40aud.

All meat boodle - taste is good especially the bistek which one could easily tell it has been marinated for a while because of the deep flavour. Also noteworthy is the grilled liempo which has a sweet-savoury note into it. Was looking for a bit more juiciness on the krispy pata meat but nevertheless the crispy skin of pork lechon belly saved the day. There was this also chicken inasal which were a bit dry but tastes okay.

All seafood boodle - things to praise are the shrimp and calamari which were cooked great, not overcooked or whatsoever. One thing though is that I could not seem to taste the 'buttered garlic shrimp' it was supposed to be. The crispy tilapia fillet however, one would not easily tell at a first glance that those were fish they tastes okay though. Lastly, the chili crab, this disappointed me big time as I have been looking forward to it. I am not sure how these were cooked but it would be great if they take some time to cook it well. Plus not sure what is the purpose of incorporating batter on the crab, simply boiling it then tossing it to the sauce would have been perfect.

Lomi - This was good with lots of toppings and the largest serving would probably already feed 4-5 people.

Halo halo - The saving glory of the whole experience. Brings me back to the filipino dish flavors.

Mastery of flavor - 2.5/5 Ambience - 4/5 Staff Congeniality - 3.5/5 Value for money - 2/5

Overall, I might still give it one more try in the future. Just hoping they take time to read feedbacks from these reviews to further improve as I see they are slowly slipping to the quality of Filipino food they...

I’ve been hearing about this place for a few months now and finally was able to make my way down here. We ordered the sisig and rice, logsilog, and shared a generous serving of halo halo for me and my son. The sisig (pork belly and pieces of meat with chopped onions and veggies) was pretty pretty good. I added my toyo and calamansi to suit my palate and I was a happy customer. My son had the logsilog which was skinless sausage (I prefer skin on just for my liking of the classic version), garlic fried rice, eggs, and a side of pickled veggies. I would probably venture to try some of the other classics next time. The halo halo was of generous sizing, and they didn’t skimp out on quality! My son was very satisfied with it, with good quality ube (sweet purple yam) ice cream. However, I haven’t even gotten to the highlight! Upon our arrival and until we had finished our meal, the hospitality and service of the workers there was exemplary. Even though I was born in the Philippines, my Tagalog is pretty broken at best. I loved that they spoke to me in Tagalog, even though I would just respond mostly in English and 5-year old level of Tagalog (at best). They were polite, probably overly polite by Aussie standards, but exuded the warmth and care that is distinctly and and recognisably Filipino in culture. I felt like I was back in the Philippines, felt like I was HOME. Thank you so much, I’ll be coming back over and over again as long as this stays the same. Highly impressed and very proud of you, Kababayan 🙏🏾🇵🇭

It's really busy during lunch time but we managed to get a table rather quickly. However they seemed to be quite short of front of house wait staff as it's usually quite a wait before we are able to flag down someone for something, so for some items we ended up self service and picking up things like serviettes and cutlery ourselves. We ordered two different boodle sets. A meat set and a seafood and meat set. Each set is for around 5 people and it comes with unlimited soup. For the meat set, we enjoyed the grilled pork, grilled chicken and the roast pork. The bistek is nice too even though it's not a familiar flavour profile, and the pickled vegetables that came with it help to cut through the fatty pork pieces. However the huge pork bone pieces and skin still have some quite gnarly looking pork hair on it. The seafood and meat set features a more deep fried style. There were fried calamari pieces, fried chicken, roast pork, fried blue swimmer crab pieces with sweet chilli sauce, garlic butter prawns and the same pickled vegetables. The fried chicken is a bit dry while the calamari pieces are really small. The prawns and crabs are good though and fresh. We also ordered a halo halo to share as we were quite full. It's your standard halo halo with a tasty ube ice cream and lots of different ingredients including green jelly, cooked plantain, coconut strips etc.
