Still killing it, with their curries. But one issue was that we weren't offered papadams when we sat down. Our kid loves them. And when we asked for it, we got charged for one serve. The waiters seemed new but sill. Loved the goat byranie and palak Paneer and the lamb vindaloo. Went back again and found the food excellent as always. Great Naan quality. The lamb vindaloo was spicy with tender cuts of lamb. The Palak paneer could have been more flavourful but the paneer seemed home made which was nice. Found this place based on the ratings. So under stated but the food was fantastic... Loved the vindaloo and the goat curry. Naan was authentically made in a tandoor oven. Good service, authentically Indian from India, as an Indian from India it was as good as home.

Food is pricy but when you taste it you’ll realise it is absolutely worth the price. Not a single dish I’ve tasted was less than delicious and although portions appear small, they are surprisingly filling and dense: a sign that each dish is packed with ingredients. Always happy and stuffed after eating here. Staff are attentive too.

We had food here on Saturday night and wow it was so yummy! So happy we chose here as there’s a lot of choice in Victoria Park, I highly recommend Spicy Affair. Such good quality and amazing value. Malai Kofta and Chicken Tikka Masala were divine. Food was quick and it’s great that it’s a BYO!

Listen up, folks, if you want a delicious meal at a truly tasty price then this is the place for you.

Spicy Affair should take on a sub-name of sorts to the tune of “Dalliance with Deliciousness” because, lemme tell ya, the food gave the impression of a deep connection with someone on a moonlit night, cut short… because, well, you finish your food—you get me.

My partner and I bought a bottle of Prosecco from the bottle-o a little ways down and just had a grand old time. The place is warm (perfect for winter right now) and the vibe fresh, with the laughter from the servers as they greeted the guests giving the place an overall atmosphere reminiscent of entering a homely lounge with family members that you actually like. And, again, the food was divine.

We wouldn’t have gone there at all if not for a small post on Facebook alerting us to its existence. Which is to say: if you’re looking for a sign to check it out, here it is. I’m definitely happy to stand...
