Went to StreetFood Dal Porco to try the famed Fiorentina steak cooked on charcoal - Alex the chef (and owner) cooked a delicious medium rare steak that was perfect by itself, I did add some home made chilli oil ( the bottle said Viagra though as a hot substitute). The environment reminded me of a familiar restaurant back in Italy, service was very prompt and we were seated with a great view onto the charcoal open kitchen. We did try a nice eggplant parmigiana as entree ( would like to see a slightly bigger size but taste was good). We had some freshly barbecued arrosticini (lamb skewers which are flavoured simply and tasted just like in Abruzzo - where my father was from) while waiting for the Fiorentina steak - it got delivered from the Chef in person and it did look like a meaty masterpiece (couldn't finish it all - even if I wanted to). Next time I would like to try the pizza with pistachios and Burrata - till next time Alex and the Team at...

If you want to try proper charcoal italian bbq, you can't find a better place. You will taste unique Fiorentina steak, porchetta and arrosticini, the traditional abruzzese lamb skewers that taste outstandingly delicious here, perfectly cooked by Alex according to italian tradition that reminds me the taste and the flavour of the food in my hometown. Pizzas are also quite remarkable, my favourite is the one with sliced mortadella and pistachio, but the other night I've tried one that has a bit of everything on it (in the picture) and the mix of flavours was superb. Not only the food is much more than noteworthy, Alex and Alice will make you feel at home with their warm and kind welcome and service. I became a regular here since when I found this gem a couple...

My mum and I could smell a firey charcoal smell and followed our noses I to this beautiful little restaurant. Although small, it was cosy and just what we were looking for. The owner is from Rome but I have never had Italian food with such a smokey charcoal flavour - it was delicious! We had the eggplant parmigiana, rocket salad and lamb skewers. Next time we hope to try a pizza which looked big and juicy. It was also very good value and BYO so you can take your own wine in.

The only let down was that they forgot to bring us bread and we didn't realise until we left. I also would have enjoyed a bigger selection of skewers like chicken or beef rather than just...
