Great place for a healthy or indulgent lunch, and maybe a sneaky treat 🤫🤭 The coffee is sometimes a miss. Wow. Editing this because of the disgusting attitude from the worker today (8/2/22). I was purchasing a sandwich for someone and they do not eat cheese due to allergens. The ready-made sandwich was not suitable and I asked for one to be made without cheese. I don't know what the policy is on ready-made food vs made-to-order food is at Junction, but I surely think it should not entail LYING. The reason provided to me for why they could not make a sandwich (to a dietary requirement!) was that they had no bread. Fair enough, that's fine. What is entirely not fine, and pretty silly, is that I looked behind the server to see two and a half loaves of bread. This is an example of a completely unacceptable attitude for a business to display to its consumers and I will not return, nor suggest to anyone else to support this type of business, especially when there are many other options available. I hope the worker realised her error at the time - or does now - and the cafe can...
Read moreI understand that maybe some of the staff where in training but the person in charge was even hard to communicate with. I walked away with a headache trying to order a tea and a coffee. I finally managed to place our order but the tea was so weak it wasn’t drinkable, the cup was delivered with hands around the rim instead of being held by the saucer, it was the end of day so rubbish was all over the floor and tables hadn’t been wiped down even though they where still open for customers. The coffee cup was covered in coffee even though it didn’t appear to have been spilled. If I was a local I wouldn’t be a regular. Hopefully they will get their back together for locals. I’m trying to finish my tea and one of the staff has decided to sweep around my feet and under the table as I sit here. Where is the hospitality training in this country? Is there...
Read moreFive stars! Highly recommended. Excellent service, great coffee and delicious food in a quiet and calm atmosphere. Two of us had a late lunch at Junction Cafe this week and everything was tasty. Lots of fresh lunch, drink and sweet options. The atmosphere was cosy for a rainy day while still letting in lots of natural light. An uplifting place to relax for a little while. The team members were genuinely cheerful and always friendly. Our lattes in mugs were perfect, had beautiful flowers created in the milk by the barista, and we loved the lemon slice we shared with our coffees. We also ordered Southern fried chicken burgers which were made on multigrain rolls and they were really yummy too. It was our first visit and we can't wait to go there again soon. Thank you for the wonderful experience to...
