An exceptional pie shop. Lovely staff. Excellent setting with chairs and tables inside and out. Their food is, THE BEST!

Been approximately 18 months since I last had their pies, sausage rolls and caramel slice. In their Bright and Yakandanda stores.

They didn't disappoint. Still exceptional! Still well priced, Plus nothing has been affected by shrinkflation.

I have to say, the BEST SAUSAGE ROLLS in Australia or the world for that matter. Large, juicy, meaty, tasty and perfect pastry. Nothing like the dry bready ones you get at most bakeries where you need a tonne of sauce to moisten them up. The steak and mushroom pie is the best I've ever eaten. Big chunks of steak and mushroom. The caramel slice is the size of two and delicious. Did I mention, all the serving sizes are well above the normal bakery standard. Plus they are so well priced.

At the end of the day. Fantastic food plus a really nice setting to sit back and enjoy. I highly recommend.

I've returned numerous times for the same few things; chicken and mushroom pie, sausage roll and jelly slice. Prices are pretty good considering. The sausage roll is huge, very full of meat, they seem to sell out wuickly as ive missed out a few times. The pie is yummy, it never seems to be as creamy inside as the ones from gum tree yackandandah. And they always seem to run out of relish so I've literally resorted to buying my own jar. Plus $1 for a tiny tub of relish feels like a bit of a rip off considering the price of the pie. The jelly always seems to slide off the jelly slice which Iis annoying but it's nice all the same. Atmospheres nice it's in a good location, nice to pull up a seat and eat there if that's your jam. I've only stayed to eat there once as it does get pretty busy and that's not really for me. The crispy puff pastry and sauces of these pies are out this world! My husband reckoned it was the best pie he had ever had.

The Thai Green Chicken Curry pie was delicious with the sauce sweet and creamy and the spice heat was barely mild, so heat lovers should expect less. The family had Steak & Mushroom and Steak & Pepper - both had good chunks of beef and lovely gravy.

We really wanted to try the Creamy Cauliflower and others too so we ended up bringing a cooler bag with ice to take a bundle back home to Melbourne. They do a deal for 6 pies that’s nicely packed into a pizza-type box that’s well-marked for the selection and heating instructions.
