Country Chicken Stop Wodonga — Restaurant in Wodonga

Just moved to town and tried this little store and it was AMAZING, staff were insanely kind. The next night I came back at around 8:17.. before I open my mouth the young girl behind the counter looked me up and down huffed and puffed and slammed her hand on the bench. I was in absolute shock and looked at the young girl behind me who was waiting for her meal and she looked just as shocked as me. I then proceeded to check if you're happy to take my order being close to close ( she continues to roll her eyes at me) takes my order by the end ive stopped being kind and respectful and this young girls behaviour was feral. She then hands me my food I check it as I knew it would be stuffed. No corn like I asked, I ask her politely where it is & I'm told i didn't order corn but instead carrots and she actually wanted to argue on what I ordered!! She then throws her hands up walks into the back complains to I'm guessing a manager (who not once came out to see what was the problem) after waiting almost 6 mins for my cold corn she tries to apologise to me and.. wait for it!!! tells me "I'm sorry if I was rude but it is the end of the night..." Wow good luck having a career young one. "Let's treat people badly because my shifts almost done??" Is that your brain? I was upset as I was living out of my car and was excited to treat myself & to be treated like that when I was nothing but kind really affected me that night. All I ask to this young girl and store, TREAT PEOPLE WITH KINDNESS. You guys are lucky it wasn't someone else doing it worse then me, you don't know what your actions can cause. I will NEVER step foot back...

Used to love country chicken stop, was a must visit for lunch whenever we were in wodonga, but it seems to have changed hands. Prices have gone up (which is fine, times are tough but this is a bit excessive) but more importantly portion sizes have gone down. I got a cold pack which had the standard leg qtr portion, but 2 small scoops of salad in a small cardboard box. Used to be generous portions of the salad in a bigger container. And it came to 14.50, including a 50 cent card surcharge, which I don't mind the cost of the card use passed on, but at 50 cents you're profiting off it. Hadnt had food from here for some time. Ordered 4 take away meals tonight for delivery to 2 locations. Got to 1st location and found 1 meal was wrong. Went back and was told we were out of chicken so you got wings and drumsticks but we have chicken now. So gets fixed but 3 cold meals........ The chicken that was replaced was not fully cooked so pretty disappointing.
