This Italian restaurant is very good, during my time here I was greeted by nice servers and waitresses, beautiful atmosphere and good food.
I had the apple cider pork belly, and it was really delicious, don’t get me wrong- it was just overwhelming, the flavour was bombarded by salt. And being a fat lover on pork, I thought I was gonna love it, but the fat took up like 85% of the actual meat. The apple cider and cinnamon sauce though, oh my god, it was heavenly.
The people I came with got, eye fillet, king prawn and chilli linguine, salt imbocca and the chicken scallopini. According to them the king prawn linguine was very delicious, and perfect. The salt imbocca was apparently warm, not hot. The eye fillet was good but dry in the middle, and the chicken was very pleasing.
The service was alright, the waitresses were super kind and helpful, but the wait time was longer than you’d expect.
The atmosphere reminded me of the Doonan in the Sunshine Coast (which is a very good thing by the way). The fairy lights and the grape vines are a nice touch. And it doesn’t feel very crowded because of how open it is.
Overall this restaurant is a good place to go for a dinner, lunch, date night. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Well...
Read moreTonight my wife and I had dinner at Italy on a Plate. 1st time we have been there. On reading some reviews I was sceptical but thought give it a go. On arrival the ambiance was very modern inviting and enjoyable. Greeted by our waitress and shown to our table we were professionally treated and warmly welcomed. There were 3 waitresses working in a large area with covid restrictions they were certainly busy covering the space. Whilst busy we never waited nor did we feel unattended. One of our waitresses was inexperienced but very professional and quite charming. A little insignificant error was quite cute. The entrees were quickly served very generous and tasty. We had the calamari and the mussels. Mains we had veal saltimbucca and veal del cassa. I hope I have that right. Both were excellent and the veal cooked to perfection. Lovely and blush the way it should be cooked. The night was lovely. Great ambiance service and food. I think the key to this place is it's simplicity and honesty. The food speaks for itself and says it well. We will be back. P.S. we did have dessert. We took it with us. It looks fantastic but we are so full we will have to enjoy...

Would explain I'm a bottle shop manager & sell this product. Come again for a birthday - $27 for a basic (not large) Margarita pizza. Dropped to 2 stars from 3 after my second attempt. Meals ordered last in a group of 20 served first. 18 others had to wait 15 or so mins to get their meal with other two waiting for others to finish. This restaurant may work on Lygon Street in Melbourne, but not rural Albury Wodonga.
Definitely no vegetarian additions on the menu if that's your thing. (Besides a margarita) Asked if any other alternatives to which was a no.
A really lovely restaurant if you like seafood or authentic Italian meats - at a cost. Picked a basic pineapple pizza and their machine had broken down? Had to have a bowl of veggies. Wasn't that tasty for the price. Saw the seafood dishes coming out though, looked fresh & lovely!
Service was pretty average too and took a long time to get served the...
