Ordered 2 meals, Falafel HSP and Fettuccini Carbonara for dinner. Ordered through a delivery service. Paid $50 and some change.

Meals arrived in reasonable time and hot to touch.

Opened the Falafel, and it was as dry as the simpson desert and the wooden fork supplied couldnt pierce the outer crust and actually broke the ends of the fork. Chips were soggy and tasted like mush.

So I decided to move onto my 2nd meal instead, and opened the container to this mess of a meal. It had 10 gallons of oil and water that seeped through the pasta and pooled up on the bottom of the container. I had 1 bite out of it and was "repulsed".

I ended up cooking 2 minute noodles because I was starving and had just spent $50 for 2 unedible meals.

I gave my dog the 2 containers for her dinner, watched her almost shatter her teeth on the falafel, and im sure she had indegestion that night.

The sad part about this review, ive been ordering food here for 3+ years, and watched a sharp decline in food standards over the last 6 months. Received 3 bad meals in a row and enough is enough. Previous to this, food was great and I enjoyed it regularly.

Tried the kebabs here for the first time, and was not disappointed. The food was tasty and fresh. Ordered some hot chips as well, they and they had the perfect amount of crunch and the perfect amount of salt. The person that took our order was really friendly, and he was also helpful with food suggestions. Pricing was very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Updated April 2024 We did come back for a kebab a second time, but it was a bit of a disappointment so I've changed my rating. This time it was a female who made our kebabs. She was pretty stingy on the filling, and unfortunately the way it had been wrapped, the meat filling was on the left and the salad was on the right, so I didn't get those beautiful flavours with every bite. It was a shame as I was really looking forward to it. Might only stop in if I see the guy that had originally served us. They do also have a different daily lunch special so worth checking out if you're after...

The two male employees today were so nice and accomodating. I had a bad experience with a Menulog driver yesterday where my kebab was delivered and it stunk of cigarette smoke and I could even taste the smoke when I took a bite from the bottom of the kebab in which I immediately regretted. Today I rang Ali Baba Kebab & Pizzeria business and enquired about how to take the complaint further to Menulog. But they went out of their way to make a fresh kebab for me today even though it was not their fault on their end. As always they cook their kebabs fresh and it tasted amazing! The best kebabs in the border ! I have since deleted the Menulog app and will never be using it again! My advice is to go straight into the shop and pick it up fresh instead of relying on dodgy Menulog drivers to deliver your food.
