We first tried this cafe via Uber Eats and my partner fell in love instantly with their Philly Cheesesteak & Chips dish. We have been ordering delivery from them frequently and the food always arrived hot or at least warm enough when delivery driver took longer, so I was pretty surprised to see they have a cold food complaint here (from Menulog it seems). Iâd highly recommend using Uber Eats as we never had cold food issues from here (we live within 10 min drive though so that could be one of the reasons), and I personally have heard of quite a few frustrating menu log experiences when it comes to delivery time. Pricing looks the same between delivery and in store here which is not the case for some other cafes.
As picky eaters we pretty much ordered the same thing all the time (sometimes with coffee/small dish) but definitely recommend trying the Philly cheesesteak if youâre after something indulging, fast food like but also absolutely delicious. From the cheesy Turkish bread, tender beef, caramelised veggies to the crispy and well-seasoned thick-cut chips - yum! We truly hope the quality will stay this way for a long time as it will be hard for us to find an alternative around here! (many good restaurants started to reduce portions or cook less carefully once they got more popular - you prolly know what I mean if you ate out quite often in Wollongong).
To the guy who worked this morning: We drove to pick up the food in person the first time today as there were no Uber Eats driver at 6 AM and we decided that we want your cheesesteak bread for breakfast đ Thank you for making it so fast and keeping it hot though we took long to get there! To be very honest the nutella donut was not the best (understandable though) but we loved the hot food and your service as always, and canât wait to...
Read moreI AM FURIOUS. My first order last week for $90.00 worth of food for my hard-working hungry staff, arrived stone cold. I called Ariels and was explained that the menulog driver had left with our order 25 minutes earlier- we are 2 minutes down the street from them. Ok was the food cold when it left- yes the owner said- it had been sitting for the driver waiting for pickup. You would think that Ariels would have some kind of responsibility of food handling - keeping it warm but no. I contacted Menulog, they refunded me a lousy $30.00. It now gets worse, today i ordered $99.49 worth of food again for my staff. Arrival time came and went, app says driver waiting at shop for last 15 minutes, ok maybe they are busy. I then received a call from Ariels to ask if I can come get the food as No driver has turned up. I asked if the food was cold again and he said yes, ITS NOT HIS RESPONBILTILY. Honestly, i think you have a responsibility to ensure your product is sent out the best it can be, maybe invest in a food warmer if this is a regular occurrence. I blame both Ariels and Menulog and will be using neither of you again. Seriously, i hope you improve your service as your food is great - WHEN ITS HOT. An extremely disappointed, frustrated and angry...
Read moreExtremely poor customer service. Sure know how to drive customers away! Telling me i didn't order something when I clearly did, and my wife heard me also order it. The mistake was no issue at all, but insisting and becoming extremely argumentative over me (not ordering coffee) when I clearly did is very poor behaviour. And then to also argue with my wife who heard me order it, (of course you would back him up) is disgraceful. Just admit you didn't hear it because you were too busy speaking with someone else whilst taking the customers order and move on! But you couldn't move on, you insisted on then speaking with other customers about the ordeal, and how great you are at your job. Wow, what an experience on fathers...
