I went in this morning to purchase breakfast for both my friend and I. I asked for 2 servings of sour dough toast with butter and peanut butter. I clarified that I wanted 4 pieces in total which was two servings, As I have experienced this error before. I also ordered two coffees to take away. I was charge $26.36 for which I though was normal considering I got two lots of toast and two coffees. The person making my toast took about 15 minutes to start making as he was distracted by other people, I asked where my toast was and he said its in the toaster I cannot make it go any faster but he hadn’t put it in. While waiting the girl making my coffees had made them before I got the toast as a result they were sitting there going cold. When i did get my toast I was given one serving being 2 pieces instead of 4. When I questioned them about how much I had paid they told me that one piece of toast was $7.50 per slice and that was the prices to talk to the owner if I wasn’t happy. I asked when the owner would be there and was told this afternoon but given no idea of a time. I later called and spoke to an employee there and asked to have the owner call me. He did call and gave me excuses like they are weekend staff and said they over charged me for the toast it was $7.50 for two pieces. The owner made no effort to show remorse for what had happened.I am going to speak further with the owner about the terrible service and lack care when I addressed my concerns. As a result I will not return to this business in the future and urge others to be mindful of what they are charged...

I don't know how this place still has 4 stars. I've ordered a few meals from here in the past; some tasty, most tasteless and all overpriced. I don't drink coffee but the amount of complaints I've heard from my colleagues in our nearby office is ridiculous. The coffee is never consistent; sometimes cold, sometimes too hot, sometimes tastes like dishwashing liquid and other times just simply terrible. The time it tasted like dishwashing liquid, they apologised and stated it's because the coffee machine needs to be serviced, however chose to still serve coffee. They've also stopped me from purchasing a meal for the local homeless man, because he disturbs their customers too much (ironic since they're connected to a church that should be helping others). Each time I've had food from the window it's old and stale. Lastly, don't forget the cockroach in my colleague's coffee recently. *actually I do know why they have 4 stars, they keep getting people they know to review it. If you look at the previous places they have reviewed it’s only all Ariel’s in different locations giving 5...

I visited this coffee shop recently and was initially drawn in by the diverse food options and well-structured menu. I ordered a coffee, an egg and bacon roll, and a slice of banana bread.

The coffee was decent — I’d rate it 3 out of 5. It had too little milk, making it stronger and more bitter than I prefer.

The egg and bacon roll was tasty — freshly made with good flavor and quality ingredients. However, the price didn’t match the portion or value. I expected something more substantial or unique for the cost.

The banana bread was a letdown. It tasted more like plain bread, with very little banana flavor. The bread flavor was dominant, and it lacked the sweetness or moisture you’d normally expect from a good banana bread.

The service also needs improvement. While the coffee came out fairly quickly, the banana bread arrived nearly 10 minutes later, and by then my coffee had already gone cold. Oddly, the egg and bacon roll was served before the banana bread, which affected the flow...

I ordered eggs on toast and asked for poached eggs, but it was too cooked, not runny at all and this is 13.5 dollars. Such a rip off for the quality. The bread was also not good they didn’t even give me butter or anything else. They take eggs on toast too LITERALLY because I see nothing else there except few leaves of spinach, one of the saddest breakfast I’ve had in years. The coffee was not good either, not too bad but would definitely not recommend coming here paying this much for this quality of food. The staffs helped when I complained and got me a new one, but the food doesn’t get any better. I usually don’t put any reviews on google but this one really deserves a review. The place looks lovely but not surely not worth a visit.

Ariel’s Coffee Shop serves an exceptional brunch! The avocado toast was creamy and fresh, topped with tangy feta, juicy cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. The crispy halloumi added a perfect salty balance, while the scrambled eggs were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The beautiful presentation, with elegant chocolate swirls, made the dish even more enjoyable. Paired with a rich coffee and a relaxing atmosphere, this meal was a true delight. Highly recommended!!
