The food was nice when it came. Nothing exceptional, but good stuff and reasonably priced.
Coffee was lovely and had some nice latte art, as did the hot chocolate which was also very good.
Service was friendly, but slow. Food took a while to come out at all, then came out far apart, then after waiting another 20 minutes we went back inside to find out they'd forgotten one of our orders. They (not very quickly) made it up again, and then forgot to put the chutney in (or made the wrong thing) meaning to was pretty disappointing, but by that time we were past needing to leave so had to accept it and go. However, I firmly believe this was just bad luck, so whilst it somewhat ruined our first experience here, I still intend to come back and give it another shot, and will update my review when I do.
Given its location on a very busy main road, it's not particularly relaxing or serene, but the vibe is still nice and I would definitely meet up with friends here.

We love the coffee here but the service has regularly dropped and much better service up can be had in either direction up the road.
It’s sad we can no longer enjoy the original loving, friendly and inviting service that made us tell everyone about...

My favorite dish was the sourdough toast with scrambled eggs—the toast was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The slice was impressively large, making it ideal for sharing between 2 people. We also tried the almond croissant, which stood out as the most "solid" croissant I've had. Unlike the usual soft and flaky croissants, this one was filled! It had a sweet filling made from a blend of almond sugar and other ingredients I couldn’t quite recall.
If the weather is nice, definitely opt for the outdoor seating—it's a...
