Levendi — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

All fish n chips we have tend to be benchmarked against our top joint in Batemans Bay - The Innes Boatshed. The ratings, review and the queue for Levendi had our hopes up. Surely, this had to give it a run for its money.

Unfortunately, this place falls short in terms of food quality: Beach variety pack - hake batter was not as crisp. Fish didn't seem super fresh, wife suspected it might be frozen due to texture although we can't confirm that. Prawn cutlet was ok. Calamari was alright. Chips were decent. Hoki fish cocktail - standard size. Decently done. Nothing to rave about. Potato scallop - very thin slice of potato with greasy batter thicker than the potato. Crispy batter but not much to enjoy with this one. Do not recommend this one.

Price was ok. Would not say the portions are generous as they're priced accordingly.

To their credit, they kept up with the queue quite well, with me getting my order within 20-25 minutes of ordering.

This also happens to be my 3rd fnc in my 4th day and the other 2 (Batemans Bay & Narooma) definitely trumped this so take what you will from...

Levendi: Fish and Chips Perfection! Levendi isn't just any fish and chip shop, it's a revelation! Arguably the best fish and chips I've ever had. The servings were incredibly generous, the fish was fresh as can be, and cooked to absolute perfection. The batter was light and crispy, just the way it should be. But it wasn't just the food that impressed me. I also grabbed a barista quality coffee and finished off with some ice cream - both delicious! To top it all off, the location is beautiful - perfect for a relaxing meal. The real stars of the show, however, were the staff. Shout out to #Emily and #Maddie! These lovely girls were so welcoming and attentive throughout my visit. They were clearly working hard, and it was great to hear they're putting in the effort to fund their education. Overall, Levendi is a must-visit for anyone after a fantastic fish and chip experience. Great food, great location, and fantastic service - what more could...

I did not have a problem with the young guy who took my order wrong when I bit into chicken today even though I am Vegan, these things happen and that is not why I'm writing this. My issue was with the lady who was unapologetic and falsely blaming of me ordering incorrectly. I returned the wrong order to them and I did not get an apology, instead she asked who took the order and went and spoke with the other staff I heard her say to them that I must have ordered another burger with veggies that had the chicken on it, this is not the case as when ordering I had asked the guy for what vegan options they had and that is what him and another staff member worked out for my order (which must have been incorrect what he inputted into the system) Again no apology on receiving the correct order later.
