The waitress who served us Sarah was rude. When i went to order our food at the counter after waiting in a long line she said she needed to do something and that I would need to wait, I waited and watched while she walked back to another area and did nothing. I believe she made me wait for no reason. When she returned I started telling her our order, she rudely then told me to slow down as she needed to write the order. we then waited over 30 minutes for 2 smashed avo’s on toast and one aussie breakfast. Our drinks took over 25 minutes to arrive. one coffee a thick shake and a smoothie. After 30 minutes we asked Sarah if our food could be brought to us quickly as it was my daughters birthday and she had an hair dresser appointment with my wife. Sarah then came back 10 minutes later and said our food would be another 15 minutes. Another 25 minutes went by and we eventually called Sarah back to get our food to go. My wife and daughter had left to go to the hairdresser to not miss their appointment 10 minutes earlier. Sarah didn’t return with our food and we called another waitress to the table to ask if our food could be brought to us when suddenly Sarah turned up with our food. This service was totally rubbish, the coffee was bitter and we feel Sarah purposely made us wait for no reason. over an hour’s wait for our order is atrocious and this totally ruined my daughter’s birthday breakfast; We will never return to this cafe and will tell all of our family and friends to never go. The other waitress who bought us our drinks was lovely though and her service was kind and pleasant. If i could leave a zero rating I would. Sarah should not work in hospitality as she...

So my partner and i have been going to this place for a couple of years now and its usually our go to place for Brekky. The service and food has definitely dropped in standard past couple of weekends we have went.

Last Sunday has to be the worst experience having breakfast. Our order took close to an hour and the Cafe wasn't even full. To add the frustration tables that ordred after us got their food first.

We didn't order anything complex I.E Brekky roll, Toasties & Pancakes 2 coffees to start and another 2 coffees because we were waiting so long. We had to continually ask for updates only to get ''ohh your order is next'' or '' Its on its way''.

We were well and truly over it then we asked for a refund. They agreed to a partial refund (ended up being $20) not much considering we spent close to $80 for cold food & next to no service.

Its a shame because we are local and have been loyal customers for quite some time, i don't usually write reviews and let minor things go but this was a terrible experience.

Looks like we need a new go to Cafe!

Thanks for reading & all the...

We have been going here for many years. However last two times, the coffee which I have to have almond or soy milk as I’m highly lactose intolerant they have given me cows milk! If you’re lactose intolerant you get what I mean!! This morning after my third try as we really did like this place, they gave me cows milk again even when I rang them to pre order and say - please remember it’s ALMOND milk! Yes, I took the coffee back and spoke to the owner, no offer of a refund on his part. I said to him, so you’re not going to offer me a refund!! Only then did he get up from the table he was sitting at to offer a refund! No more tries with this venue and it’s a shame.

Reply to your response. You would not of drunk the coffee, as I bought it back 15 mins later as it was cows milk and I was unfortunately having a reaction from the milk to bring it straight back. Please talk to your staff member about my so called comment, as that...

After waiting 15-20 minutes to order, we were very exciting to enjoy our food. Not being local to the area we chose the cafe based on the atmosphere when walking past but when we were ignored by 2 waitresses while trying to get an update 40 minutes after ordering, and then 55 minutes after ordering got their attention asking where our food was it miraculously was ready and served straight away. The food was served to us stone cold, clearly it had been sitting for quite some time. We were offered complimentary drinks as an apology for the “unprecedented wait” as the waitress said, so ordered a coffee each which was burnt and thrown out promptly. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, the eggs seemed more like a cut up sponge. Worst $50 we’ve ever spent.

The cafe has quite extensive breakfast menu. We ordered brekky pide, shakshuka with chorizo, coffee, smoothie, and sticky chai. Brekky Pide is quite big portion but very bland. It has eggs, bacon, mushroom, tomato, and chorizo. It wrapped with filo pastry. The bottom pastry is soggy. The Shakshuka is just a baked eggs with some veggies. I wouldn’t call it a Shakshuka. Mango smoothie is nice. Don’t think you could go wrong with it. The Sticky chai is not a powder chai but it will need some honey in it as it has no sweetness. Disappointed with the flavour. Could do better.

Fantastic cafe in a central location. The service was fast and friendly and the food was nice. The venue is also Pet friendly. We saw a few guests bring their dogs which was quite nice. There are indoor and outdoor seats available. We ordered the: 1. Waffles - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside 2. Special breakfast pide - this comes with bacon ,egg , chorizo in a filo pastry. This is big and recommend for 2 people to share. Recommend this spot for the nice atmosphere and great coffee!
