Rude Service Bad Environment We reached the place at 8pm and they are closing at 10pm. We were treated badly. The waitress was rushing us to order and when she served the food, she were like throwing the food on the table and the soup almost spilled on the table. When we were still eating, she started to clear our dishes away and we haven’t finished eating yet, there were still foods on our plates. Ridiculous. And later that she even gave us takeaway containers and asked us to takeaway our foods while we were still eating. Obviously rushing us out of the restaurant but it’s still 8:40pm. The whole environment was noisy and full of smoke. They even turned the air conditioner off when we were still eating and it was so stuffy. The floor is really oily and slippery, dangerous for elderly and kids. Foods are salty and every course...

Very disappointed - ordered home delivery after wanting to try the food. Honey chicken was bland, soggy and didn’t even fill a standard container. Deep fried pork was soggy and tasted ‘wrong’ (normally iron stomached family members declined to finish it) Karage chicken pieces were undercooked, soggy parcels of yuck - put in container with soggy lettuce leaves and no sauce or anything similar to make it taste more interesting with the coating falling off. Fried rice was ok but still didn’t fill a normal container like every other fried rice I’ve ever ordered. Also purchased prawn chips (often complimentary at other restaurants) and found them extra greasy and served in a standard shopping bag. We went to Fujiyama for a child’s birthday. It’s a great experience and lots of fun for the kids.

The show of cooking the food seemed a bit quick from what I have experienced in the past at similar restaurants. I seem to remember the chefs doing more tricks and things but our chef was still very friendly and skilled at his craft.

The resultant has a bit of a grotty feel from the oil that cooks off the hot plates and the whole place feels a little bit tired.

It’s still a nice night and great for a fun evening if having to catch your food.
