Ewe'N Me Restaurant — Restaurant in Yass

Food is moderately expansive comparing to portion, service and food quality. Went there on Saturday night. Only two staff managing the patrons, taking and serving the orders. Ordered Mediterranean antipasto platter , the seafood was lack of seasoning and hard to eat, so asked for lime pieces to season it up, the waitress asked we had lime pieces at the bar would you like that ? She came back with only two tiny sliced limes ... The plate was cold it looked like the ingredients are not freshly prepared and piled up without any care. For main we ordered Indian butter chicken the stew itself was ok but the rice portion was barely 1/3 cup of rice, kids meal size maybe? ... also ordered Sumac pork loin with two sides again very average dish, the two sides were shockingly tiny. For desert ordered cheesecake and two cafe latte. The cheesecake was ok and nicely presented but not sure how fresh was it. They only served one coffee instead of two. We were waiting for the second one for a while as the waitress were busy serving other guests. When we went to pay the bill at the bar we mentioned that we ordered two coffee but only received one , she said oh sorry and mentioned how much we have to pay with out presenting the detailed bill. Sensational. What an incredible surprise. Stayed here as an overnight stop on the school holidays. Like all the other reviews said the food is exceptional. Our kids ate everything on their plates. While we enjoyed 3 entres as they were so good - our favourite being the pork belly. Comfit duck and Morrocan pork. Both were brilliant. We had the Yarhh Sangiovese - 2021, which was the best Italian varietal we have ever had. As we weren't driving we ended up having two bottles! And going back to the entre menu again for some more pork belly and halomi. The hotel is comfortable and clean. My husband & l had the pleasure of dining at Ewe’N Me Restaurant when recently staying in Yass This is the fourth time we have dined there and once again the food was faultless I had the Angus Striploin & he had the Sous Vide Lamb. Both meals were perfectly cooked & beautifully presented. A bottle of wine from the local Dog Trap Winery completed the evening. Thank you to the wonderful staff in both the kitchen & restaurant, you all do a fabulous job.
