It is very hard for a person of Lebanese descent to positively rate a Lebanese restaurant, let alone in a vacation resort location in Austria but this place blew me away. Excellent food, freshly made. 3 brothers running it which gives it a family spirit but the food… this makes the difference. You can feel the generosity in the quality of the ingredients used. Falafel top rated, hummos excellent, fresh warm bread, tasty fattoush … i can go forever (AND they have excellent lebanese Arak). This place is worth the visit (if you are a vegetarian you’d love the options, if you are not you’ll love it too), gives you a free tour to another country through its cuisine while visiting the beautiful alpine...

Managed to find a bit more peaceful haven during the evening of Kirchtag. The Alwadi Restaurant welcomed us with friendlyness and prompt service.

For eating, we ordered three starters: chicken wings, falafels, and fresh salad. The latter was juicy and delicious, chicken wings interestingly spiced and juicy. However, the falafels were a bit disappointing with their dryness and homogenous midgrade character.

Fantastic experience, Bad Hofgastein can be a difficult place to find vegan or vegetarian food, but Alwadi ensured this was no problem with a great selection. The waiter advised on a variety of dishes that we were all able to enjoy and while these were restricted to the starters menu they collectively were more than enough to create a very tasty main.
