First time trying beer with honey(Met) and it was nice. The bar staff went out of her way to help me order and also helped with tram directions. As I'm on holiday visiting a family member who recently opened a caribbean fusion restaurant in Smart City ( liming Spot) so I don't speak German. The bar atmosphere is reminiscent of old Viking or Knights . It was a nice experience for us .

Ein absoluter insider Geheimtipp in Graz. Das Met Bier ist der Hammer. Das Ambiente Stimmt. Service vom Chef uns der Kellnerin war top. Wenn man kein Benimm kennt oder sich nur so zum letzten Schwung unschön auslassen möchte ist man hier falsch. Denn das Ambiente und die Freundlichkeit mir der man als Gast hier aufgenommen wird ist wirklich sehr angenehm. Ich komme gern wieder.

Ohne dem Güldenen Bären wäre Graz nicht Graz. Die kleine Taverne gehört zu den wenigen Orten die einen Charme und eine Einzigartigkeit versprühen wie es sonst kaum ein Ort schafft.

Location: only a 5 min walk from the main square

Bar: very rustic and cool. It felt like I was back in the time of knights.

Barkeeper: the owner is super friendly and chatty, which makes you feel welcome.

Bathroom: it was Okey.. but I will try to avoid it the next time

Drinks: he is famous for his 'Met Bier', which is sweeter than normal beer. The prices are a little high but for like once a month...

No food, but they allow you to bring food from outside if you want.
