Don’t try and catch the Schloßbergbahn with a pram. Worst experience ever! I wanted to catch the Bahn with my 2-year old daughter and our pram yesterday. The ticket vendor was super grumpy and forgot to point out that I would have to carry my child and the pram up the very very steep stairs by myself despite there being a lift for wheelchairs and prams. He also did not help me open the double glass doors, which were locked, in oder to pass through with them pram. When I asked for his help, he got really annoyed and told me to do it myself. When I asked how I was supposed to get the pram onto the Bahn, he told me to carry it up the stairs myself or ask another passenger for help. He rudely brushed me off and told me he could not help me. I said, that he should have pointed this out prior to me purchasing a ticket because he could clearly see I was with pram. Anyways, eventually a very kind old man, who was on the Bahn with his grandson, rushed to my help and offered to carry the pram up the steep stairs. Together we managed to get my daughter safely into the Bahn. Everyone who had witnessed the ticket vendors behavior was appalled how rude he was. A few minutes later, the same thing happened to another family with pram. I can’t understand why people are so rude and unhelpful by choice. Made me really sad. Needless to say, we took the lift back down Schlossberg, which was a much...
Read more08/16, at the Schloßbergbahn Bergstation in Graz, I saw a pair of thin orientals couple who wanted to scan their mobile phones to enter, a thick, bearded, tattooed conductor at the ticket counter said Startle them by babbling, then yelling at them. The conductor then yelled a second time as they were about to go in and wait for the cable car, then slammed the door out, walked up while shaking his head, and turned and stared at them, causing the two men to appear terrified. If there was a monitor on site, it would have recorded it all! This person's words and deeds are extremely rough, so that the elegant image of Graz has been damaged by the behavior of this grassroots worker. My heart is really sad and reluctant for such a...

Not too expensive, and the ride is...
