Uhrturm — Attraction in Graz

My visit to Uhrturm (Clock Tower) in Graz in 2018 was an enchanting experience that provided a unique perspective on the city's history and a magnificent view of its picturesque surroundings. The Uhrturm is a must see if you visit Graz! There are several options to get there: For exmaple, tunnel spiral (4.4 euro) and 1 day transport card (6.4 euros) or by walking (takes a lot of efforts). I suggest you take 1 day transport card (6,4 Euro) and use the funicular to get to the Uhrturm and you still can use the transport the whole day. There is also a lift in the tunnel spiral, right below the turm, but up and down is 4,4 euros, so the tunnels make sense only if you want to use the spiral attraction.

You can also simply visit the tunnels (1st floor -erdgeschoss) to see the preparation of keeping around 50.000 people under shelter in case of possible bombarding during WWII.

From the abkve, the whole city feels in your hands and the city map just above the scene helps you to grasp the structure of the city and you feel you know the whole city afterwards.
