Not a history museum in the traditional sense of telling stories. Instead they have huge collections of well-maintained and well-displayed historical items. These include things like dishes, furniture, clocks, beer steins, and so much more. Be sure to note the ceiling in the stairway - it's gorgeous. The museum itself would be 5 stars for the quality of the artefacts it contains, but unfortunately my rating suffers from the fact that the administration has not made the slightest effort to make it accessible to those who do not speak the German language.
