Hilberger's Beisl — Restaurant in Kaprun

It was the worst restaurant I have ever visited. Although the first impression was nice but all later experience was awful and disgusting. It took hour and the quater to get the meals, some of them were already cold. The waiter advised to order special beef steak without fat, that was the most expensive one in the restaurant. Unfortunately it comes full of veins and a lot of fat. But the main issue was the smell. It had a smell of very bad meat. Of course waiter denied it and got explanation that did not sound likely. The same issue was with all other dishes of my family, fish was terrible When I got the bill I was confused again, the waiter added all side dishes to the bill. He told at the beginning that everything is included. Summary, it is very bad place, that cooks dishes with spoiled ingredients, it wasts your time by waiting a lot and finally you will be...

Good food, but the manly waiter can be a bit blunt.

First the food, we ate here two evenings in a row. The cordon bleu and schnitzels are of good quality. The spare ribs according to my companion were delicious.

The second night we came in early and a lot of tables were free but the manly waiter insisted we took place at the same uncomfortable table as the night before. He also asked us to take into consideration the table was booked again at 8pm so we needed to be gone before this time. No problem, we kept an eye on the time and finished our dishes 30 minutes early. Without asking for it our bill was presented giving us the feeling we needed to leave when there was still time. Should not be necessary and the waiter should leave the smarty pants...

Amazing food . Left me absolutely speechless. I got the Cordon Bleu and it was amazing I highly recommend it , my parents got a fish for 2 it was big and delicious ! I do not need to say anything else about the food , it was excellent. The waiter was really nice and had a great sense of humour. The place is warm and welcoming and really cool and cozy in general really good decoration, It's a vibe ! Drinks were amazing too. If I could give it another star I most definitely would , this place is absolutely amazing no doubt about it and I would proudly recommend it to you. I just ate my desert right now , yes i didn't even leave the restaurant to write this review I was so impatient , the desert was amazing...
