Indisches Restaurant Bombay — Restaurant in Kufstein

Maybe the other reviews are older, maybe the restaurant was really great 7 months ago. But now, in August 2020, I can say that the food tastes terrible. The food is nowhere close to authentic. Tandoori chicken is supposed to be dry, not served with masala(gravy). When asked, we were told the dishes have been adapted to the local taste, which kind of defeats the purpose of having an Indian restaurant. Plates are not provided for starters,it is expected to eat out the served dish,which again makes it difficult to share it with your partner. Mango Lassi was bland,tasted more like plain Joghurt with a hint of mango taste. Garlic Naan was too thick, impossible to chew. It appeared to have been cooked on a hot plate rather than a tandoor. The shape was more like pizza bread. Overall a terrible experience, especially when we traveled close to 30 kms to have Indian food reading good...

😉I don't like the place😉 After visiting this place for 'n' number of times, I can say that I don't like the place but I loved it !!! Fabulous atmosphere, friendly people and delicious food...What else more one can expect ! If you are somewhere around the kufstein and wanted to try something delicious, then believe me, this is the place !! And you know what, they have another restaurant in Worgl with the same name and the same qualities. Both these places are Worth to visit !!!👍 I really wish that someday they will have much bigger restaurant and possibly outdoor seating...

The other reviews are saying it all and I can only confirm that this restaurant is great with a very nice and motivated staff. I had to smile while reading some other reviews, especially the one stating that the food is pretty tamed (“European”)... my Chicken Punjab had fire and was still full of flavors.
