Restaurant Purlepaus — Restaurant in Kufstein

I would give 0 if I could. My parents don't speak German, when they asked for a dish, they have pronounced one word of the dish name incorrectly, to which the waiter has replied that he doesn't have that, the only second they have opened the menu again to just show him what they would like to order he has just left. I have told him, that my parents don't speak German and that he should be patient, to which he has replied that "You cannot order SMTH that is not on the menu", although only the pronunciation was wrong. He was extremely arrogant, has forgotten half of the drinks that we've ordered and we have had to remind him about this twice.

Meat that was brought was simple warmed up and not cooked fresh, it was cold inside.

When we asked for some potatoes for a schnitzel, he said that they won't do any because they are too lazy to peel potatoes 🤨

One could argue that the restaurant was busy, but he was literally playing cards with other waiters.

The behaviour is unacceptable. Never again. If you want some discrimination and rude attitude it's definitely your best choice.

PS. turns out they indeed named goulash as ragout which is literally the same thing if you open...

Awesome! I did a few hours research into all of the nearby restaurants, and I tried this one first, based on reviews and the fact that they serve Tyrolean dishes. Try the Kasspresknodel; beautifully prepared and flavorful, thick potoato and cheese pancakes, breaded and pan fried and served in beef broth. We also ordered the chicken salad (pictured below. Fresh butter, field and micro greens, mixed with seeded, thinly sliced cucumber then dressed with a light and flavorful dressing. Served with light, crisply-breaded, chicken breast. Die Karte ist durchdacht und beinhaltet für jeden Gusto eine Köstlichkeit.

Top Qualität zu einem normalen Preis.

Während des Operetten/Musical-Sommers gibt es (in der Zeit vor der Vorstellung) eine kleinere Karte - die ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen lässt - um die Qualität des Essens garantieren zu können. Meines Erachtens vorbildlich und absolut spitze. So behält man sich seine Gäste und macht sie glücklich 😀

Für den ein oder anderen ist die mittelalterliche/ritterliche Einrichtung vl etwas speziell, aber sie ist geschichtsträchtig (wie auch der Name "Purlepaus" selbst) und SEHR gemütlich - ich fühl mich wohl.

Die MitarbeiterInnen, vor allem im Service (!) sind unglaublich! Ich habe das Restaurant immer nur (glücklicherweise) sehr gut besucht vorgefunden und sie "schaukeln" den Laden, wie ich es nur selten wo anders gesehen habe!

Schnell, aufmerksam, zuvorkommend, kompetent und überaus freundlich.

Die gute Atmosphäre im Team selbst (ungelogen), kann man förmlich spüren und überträgt sich 1:1 auf den Gast.

Es ist eine wahre Freude, unter diesen Gegebenheiten einen schönen Abend oder während des Tages, im gemütlichen Gastgarten, einfach nur zu genießen.

Für mich ist das Purlepaus ein absolutes Highlight (kulinarisch, wie menschlich) und ich kehre jedes Mal gerne ein bzw. zurück.

(An das Purlepaus selbst: Liebes Team/Geschäftsführung: bitte bleibt wie ihr seid, es gibt nicht mehr viele von euch - ihr macht einen großartigen Job!! Bewahrt euch diesen unvergleichlichen Teamgeist.. das Zusammenspiel/den Spaß/die Atmosphäre unter euch. Als Gast spürt man das und man fühlt sich bei euch wirklich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Bitte auch auf die KollegInnen in der Küche achten - Qualität und Geschmack sind hervorragend !!! 😊 Hut ab!!
