A magnificent view, nice decor, a professional and very friendly waiter, exquisite dishes and a great chef. We ordered homemade lemonade with strawberries and rhubarb and another rose-flavoured one. They were pure awesome. We also had cream of chanterelle soup – this soup turned out to be a hit, as we had tried many versions of it before, and in this restaurant it was neither too fatty nor too thick, as is often the case. Amazing views with good food and beer. The service experience was odd. I did not have a reservation and was a party off one. I was seated, but basically ignored for a long while. No silverware, no menu, and while people around me had ample service attention I was ignored for a good half hour. Eventually, someone asked if I would like anything and I ordered a beer. It is really an exquisite place in the midst of old city in Linz where one can combine a brand new interior with an amazing view of the city from above and delicious food.
