McDonald's Salzburg — Restaurant in Salzburg

Go at your own risk or if you want to suffer. Honestly the worst Macdonald's in salzburg. I know Macdonald's supposed to be cheap and fast but cmon you can at least make the food edible. I don't know what they do, I guess its the hygiene but whenever I give them another chance (because maybe it was just me) them I have stomach issues. Today I ordered with my friends and guess what all of us got food poisoning! So the only consistency they have is continuous lack of hygiene. I've been there inside and take out. Inside there ARE FLIES EVERYWHERE! And when you order out the food is always late, they always forget something and you always get a "BONUS" aka stomach problems. So would...

I usually avoid fast food chains when visiting Europe but this was a godsend at 6.30 am in Salzburg Sud.

First, it was warm compared to waiting for a bus outside. The toilets are large and clean. Water from the tap is hot (maybe too hot) and the food is so reliably good. The seats are generous too, lots of space if you’re visiting with family.

Second, I had a muffin with egg and bacon, with a hot cup of English breakfast. Absolutely delightful.

Servers were kind and English speaking. Very grateful to find such a spot while waiting for my bus heading...

Very rude cleaning lady who started chasing people away from the quiet sitting area at 23:20 even though McDonald's closes at 01:00. Surely, she wanted to go home earlier but me and two other tables wanted to eat in a quiet area. I switched the table once she asked me but when she did the same 10 min later, I rejected.
