Underwhelming, unimaginative and overpriced.

I went to Hazienda with my partner because it was rated well on the internet.

The menu is complicated which was a warning sign from the start, but as we booked in advance, we decided to stay. We discovered that all their steaks are either from U.S. or Australian beef – we wanted local choices and thus went for pasta and pork cordon bleu as mains. I ordered Asian-style beef tartar as an appetizer (I still need needed my beef).

The beef tartar was OK – it arrived covered with yellow sauce (probably mustard-based), not a very appealing presentation, but in the end the dish was flavorful, spicy with nice acidity thanks to sauces and marinated ginger.

The food quality went down from there. The pasta (pappardelle with chorizo and burrata) was presented as a pile of pasta and ingredients floating in some watery liquid with a piece of burrata on the top. The chorizo was there, as well as some green stuff (probably spinach) and capers, and some other vegies – I don’t know if it was the chef’s poor imagination of poor implementation, but it’s not what one expects from a pasta for 32.50EUR with no particularly expensive ingredients.

My partner ordered pork cordon blue made from local pork. The cordon bleu piece arrived placed on roasted young potatoes cut in round slices. The potatoes looked as reheated. When cut, the cordon bleu released a copious amount of watery liquid. There was nothing special about the pork – it was eatable at the price tag of EUR38.60.

The wine by glass (Zweigeld) was as expected, but it’s not the restaurant’s fault.

We didn't risk the desert and left.

The service was good (we didn't ask for anything special).

The conclusion – it’s an over-hyped and overpriced place that should be avoided. There are many better alternatives in Sankt Anton and...

Considering this was a high end restaurant, although the experience wasn't bad, I anticipated a higher standard for the food and service. We were a group of eight and the service was polite but at times forgetful - the waitress kept forgetting to top up wine and water to one of my friends and even at the end, forgot to take her share of the bill! I shared with a friend the beef tartare (good but nothing special and I was surprised they used toasted white bread), Thai style sirloin (good flavour and medium rare beef as requested) and the lamb (lamb was dry which was disappointing). Although the main portion sizes were large, we paid over €90 each, so it's on the more expensive side and I don't think...

Great spot, great food, good lively vibe, happening spot in St Anton. The beef carpaccio literally melts in your mouth, best ever beef carpaccio in this person’s life. . The filet of steak with their signature pepper sauce is basically a succulent, tender Filet Mignon cut and delicious. Dessert was delicious. Max the bartender was a class act on service, suggestions and grace towards us; was there with partner, ski guide Jack F(whose good graces set us up here in the first place as it’s a hard to snag a seat at the bar or s table at Friday night prime time). Owner Michael was a good...

Good restaurant overall, presentation and their variety of dishes are very good! Everything tasted great. I had two vegetarian dishes and loved them both. Good wine selection. If I must be critical I’ll say that the drink selection for aperitifs is limited, and classic cocktails such as a Negroni weren’t able to be made. Also, we though 7+ euro for a sparkling water that you can get for less than a euro at Billa was a bit steep even for restaurant prices.
