Viva Cantina Mexicana Bar — Restaurant in Stadt Bregenz

We went there with a recommendation from a taxi driver. As we arrived no one welcomed us and we needed to find someone to ask for a place to sit. Then a waiter came and asked if we have a reservation. We said no and he said okay. Dont know why he even asked. Just disturbed us. We ordered Enchiladas, Tacos and a Burrito. The food was the worst part. They were not even close to what they are supposed to.

My burrito was somehow triangle shaped and filled with greasy curry chicken! My wifes enchiladas was also drowning in sauce and calling for help!! Tacos were the worst tacos i have ever eaten. Anyone can do much better tacos at home. They were fried flour tortilla wraps. Yeah flour tortilla wraps. It was horrible! The food didnt come at the same time. This is my first negative review of a restaurant but I needed to share this. The food was absolutely terrible. Nothing about the meal resembled Mexican food at all. The salsa was tomato sauce, the burrito was not at all a burrito, the chicken was seasoned with curry (?), the rice had no flavor. My friend ordered tacos and they didn’t serve him tacos- they were fried tortillas with strangely seasoned chicken. My other friend is allergic to nuts and the waiter was not able to give him a clear answer on what contained nuts. A drink we ordered didn’t come. Everything except vegetarian tortilla was really good. Vegetarian tortilla was filled with basic frozen vegetables and toped with creme. Flavour of the vegetables was basic. Meat dishes were great and presentation was pretty good, pherps more dip and vegetables would make dishes greath

Atmopshere in the main room was great and ambient was really good. Unfortunately we were sitting in the other room so atmopshere was not so good as it was in the main room.

All in all it was nice experience and meat dishes are really good. I would recommend it and I would visit this place again.
