This was the best meal we had during our stay in Vienna. The food was simple, fresh, and delicious. However, I think what made this restaurant stand out to us the most was the kind and welcoming service we received. During our stay in Vienna we were often ignored and felt out of place in the places we were dining (we're from Northern Ireland and native English speakers with very limited German). But in Aromat we were greeted warmly and even had a nice conversation with the waiter. He gave us tips on places to visit and was happy to sit and have a chat. This restaurant was laid back, friendly, and has a lot of character. Do give this place a try, especially if you're from out of town like us. You won't be disappointed! Read moreVery good galette we had and very enjoyable vibe in the restaurant. BUT what the hell is wrong with the waiter, he has been very rude. Asked him if he was French and from where but barely answered and ran away (it was not full or the rush). And then he has been very impolite for the payment, he said they accepted card only from 20€ (not written anywhere) and we had to pay 16 so he just said « give me 4€ tips ».
