Edit: Pizza was good but the service was terrible, furthermore the response from management was at first, inexistent, and now is even inappropriate and disrespectful in their response to reviews... (This leads me to decreasing my review from 2 stars to 1) Despite reserving we got the table half an hour late. After that two of the orders were forgotten and were brought at least twenty minutes after the rest of the table, and one of the other pizzas was a small one even though was ordered as a normal size... no apologies or explanations from the service
Addendum: Dear Alessandro, Thanks for your answer even though I'm disappointed you're taking this so argumentatively. I can understand having a stressful evening with a full restaurant, but the lack of accountability or apology is much less acceptable...
First, we sat down at our table at 20h26. As for the free prosecco, one of our guests who didn't drink alcohol was just told that "she should order/pay for something instead"; in my opinion that's not a very nice gesture. But let's not dwell on that part, this wasn't even the main issue.
I also don't really see what you mean by "venting" on the staff ? We were polite to every waiter that came, and I also think there was nothing disrespectful in my review which is just stating facts of what happened, unlike your reply which is clearly insinuating I'm somehow having fun posting bad reviews on Google maps (spoiler: no I don't, I would have much preferred enjoying a good pizza with pleasant service). And for the record I posted this review right after we left so obviously, after we paid.
Finally no your manager didn't simply "approach" us. He ran after us on the street and blamed us aggressively for leaving a review without talking to him: for the record, we did ask about our orders several time throughout the evening, we also stayed until the restaurant closure (because we got our order very late) so if management had been honest in "wanting to make things right", someone should have come to our table earlier, not after we left a review...
Ps: I thought this is obvious but no, i do not control my friends... If they also thought they had a bad experience on that day, it's in their right to post...
Read moreDear Alessandro, following the drama on 2 previous reviews of my colleagues, I will try to give my review as objectively as possible. Some inconveniences can be understood and forgiven by any reasonable person because it was busy and crowded night (in our case it was mistaken orders, delays in seating and ordering and then serving the food, inconvenient payment procedure, etc). Staff might be tired, new at work or just having bad day. However what is unacceptable is serving us drinks on the house but completely ignoring one person which doesn't drink alcohol - drink is free but only what they bring out...what if we were bunch of minors?). Second thing which is unacceptable and just ridiculous is manager chasing us across half a block after we left to argue with us in a really unpleasant way about what - a Google review? Please focus on your work and service, especially for groups, and positive reviews will follow.
Conclusion for readers: Good for casual visit if you just want pizza and you are couple or small group. If you are more than 4 people and your visit is significant or important in any way - go somewhere else, for now. 1 star for management, 3 stars for pizza,...
Read moresadly we're there from time to time with our time, and every time it's the same disappointing experience.
the pizzas are extremely expensive for their taste, there's not a single pizza below 10€, most normal pizzas are 15€ upwards.
the toppings and their taste is ok, never good or even excellent, and there's too few for the size of the pizza.
the crust is far too large, so sometimes 1/3 of a slice is just crust.
most often parts of the crust or even the toppings are burned, there's never a time where nothing is burned.
the price they charge for tap water is an insolence, it's 2€ per glass. yes you can get your own and then it costs nothing, but if you don't know it, paying 2€ for a small glass of water is an absolute disgrace. not to mention the prices of all other drinks being quite expensive as well, but the price of simple tap water is simply unbearable.
even with an empty restaurant, pizzas take an eternity to be ready, so if you're there with a large group and wait for everyone, chances are the first pizzas will be cold by the time the last finally arrive.
I'd never eat there of my own...
