It’s nice to have the option of a vegan ice cream on a hot day, but the flavours we tried (basil and poppy seed) were not very flavourful and the texture was quite watery and thin. It tastes like vegan ice cream of 15+ years ago, which is disappointing because vegan ice cream has come a long way since then. I’m not sure why this is so well rated except that Vienna might not have any other vegan ice cream, so maybe there is no local comparison and people don’t realize it can be better than this. There is no doubt that this is the best vegan ice cream shop in town! I love this place so much that I go there every week. Every day they offer one special type of ice cream which they announce on Instagram (worth checking ;)) but the daily offer has great variety in taste too. I can highly recommend nocciola (hazelnut) and cookies.
