Truly a pleasant experience for coffee, studying, or a sunny break! Prices are Vienna standards, quality is top notch. Pet friendly, kid friendly, good and welcoming vibes.

Owned, I assume, by a very friendly, hardworking and passionate couple, you feel invited to someone’s home and taken care as a customer: very clean, full of well thought through details and aesthetically pleasing to look and sit at. From the barista expertise to the cakes and sandwiches offered, everything is homemade and tastes very good.

If you are a regular, you see continuous improvements made: new plants, new wall shelves with their selectively chosen coffee or products used, new lights, new paintings, all carefully arranged and matching to the environment. The latest great addition, a pretty wooden seating area increasing the amount of seats outside, where you can enjoy the sun, since Das Schöneberg is located in a quiet, friendly and sunny neighbourhood.

Morning light pouring in. Quiet background chatter. I sat alone at first—just me, my thoughts, and an oat milk cappuccino that tasted like care in a cup.

Then came the cookies. Soft, just warm, with edges that whispered “made today.” I loved them instantly. Soon enough, friends joined. We shared laughs over sandwiches and swapped bites of dessert.

If I could, I would give even more stars! This is a great animal-friendly place for work, study, chatting with friends, and families with kids. The prices are quite common for Vienna. My vegan matcha latte was priced at €5+.

The space is well-ventilated and cool in summer, with tables both inside and outside. I was also impressed to see a large box of personal hygiene products for women in the bathroom, free of charge (as it should be).
