No air conditioning in restaurant which shares the same space as an open pizza oven. Too hot to eat inside so took a table outside. No one was eating inside, which looked to be nicely decorated. All ambiance is lost there as you eat on a slanted table, smell car exhaust and listen to traffic on a very busy main street. The three pasta dishes were good (bolognese, 4 cheese, frutti de mare). However, never have I ever been served pasta bolonese and had to pay more if I wanted parmesan cheese on it. Yep, charged 3 Euro for some parm cheese on your pasta bolonese? Also we asked for tap water, waitress brought a carafe of water twice which showed up as "still water" on the invoice for 11 Euros.
Response to Fiero response: I am sure when customers can eat inside the restaurant, they get a 4.8 experience. In North America ( Canada ) we are very innovative. Instead of asking the government to level the sidewalk we simply put something under the table legs to level a table. Any time, if you come to North America (Canada), we wont charge you extra for Parmesan cheese on your pasta! Cheese on Italian food is part of the food! As for water... we ordered tap water. I see there are cultural differences at play here. Viennese people like to pay for still mineral water at their dining table,...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Fiero recently, and it was truly an outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The cozy ambiance, with soft lighting and charming décor, really set the stage for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.
Our server, Dennis, was a real standout. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His excellent service really enhanced the overall experience.
As for the food – simply incredible. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces rich and flavorful, and the desserts were the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable meal.
If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience with fantastic service and amazing food, Fiero is a must-visit....
Read moreIf I could give negative stars for this place, I would. Literally the WORST service I’ve ever seen in my many years of traveling all over the world. Our server rolled her eyes at me & heard her audibly sigh when I ordered and I saw her roll her eyes at the table next to us. Really?! Unacceptable. The pizza was mediocre and the caprese was just ok. To top it all off, the rude server charged me 12 euro for tap water!! I specifically asked for the famous Austrian tap water and she charged me for it. Besides mediocre food and horrendous service, there is zero ambience. Fake flowers, clip art posters of pizza on the wall and no music. Don’t waste your time here. There are many more fabulous restaurants in Vienna. Fo to the pizza place...
