I bike passed this park frequently on my daily routes and often find myself coming here when I just want to go somewhere to sit down and read or contemplate life's eternal questions.
The imposing Flak towers are really jarring in contrast to the rather picturesque neighborhood lined with Altbau, and the park is often filled with families and children playing in the park, and behind one tower they've established a cute community garden and a basketball court in front of the other.
Others have also mentioned there is a lack of information about this towers posted around the park, but it's 2019 and a used smartphone with internet capabilities can be purchased used for the price of a few schnitzels.
Also, the concrete walls and roof on these buildings are so thick (generally 2 meters, 7 meters thick in the upper areas) that it would be extremely expensive and dangerous demolish, possibly damaging the buildings around it were they to proceed with...

It is extremely shaded, which is great on those hot summer days! It also has some wonderful play equipment in the Spielplatz for the kinder! The pirate ship is my son's favorite, by far. The large green area is a huge plus, as the parents can enjoy a nice picnic on a blanket while the kiddos play, or even play some futball or my son enjoys playing tag with his friends. There's also a nice little path around the park, perfect to ride a small bicycle or scooter (for the kinder). A small cafe is just near the park, for coffee or eis. A dog park is nearby also for the pups! It really is a great place...
