Hi team, what's going on lately? I’ve been a loyal customer for about five years now, starting with your Westbahnstraße location. Back then, the consistency of the cappuccino cream was something I had never experienced before – always perfect, every time, no matter who was behind the machine. Over the past year, I started noticing a decline. First at Votivskirche, then even at Westbahnstraße, and now it has reached my favourite shop in Josefstadt. It was the first time I could not even finish my coffee, there was no cream, no taste, just black coffee with some milk. :( It honestly makes me sad to see such a great coffee chain lose the level of quality that once made it stand out. I know some people also complain about “card only” payments (which I personally don’t mind) and even about the recent price increase – and I get that – but as long as the taste and cream consistency are great, I’m happy to pay 50 cents more than somewhere else. The people are still nice and welcoming and enjoy the staff attitude, but they don't compensate for the taste these days. I would be more than happy to update this review and give you the praise you truly deserve once things are back on track.

A nice cafe in the eight district of Vienna called Josefstadt. Directly on the Main Street called Josefstädter Straße. I’ve been a couple of times there and I can say the service was always very polite and friendly! Some of them speak only English which is a cool thing! They offer only arabica blends for your coffee order so for me as a robusta friend this is a little bit sad. Their arabica blends are quite interesting and kinda unique to taste. You can sit in the cafe or outside. They roast their own coffee and offer it for sale. Some guests enjoy their coffee and work on their notebooks or read a book. So the vibes inside are pretty cool and nice!

I’ve been in Wien for a week and was searching for a place with great vibe and just calm sitting with laptop during the work-day. This place is totally amazing! Awesome desserts from Asian guys, tasty coffee, stylish and minimal. My special thanks is to the barista guy from Greece - one morning he met me with such a great smile and stories, that I felt I’m at home ❤️ that’s means so much when you are a digital nomad.

Second time I’m getting roasted coffee here, new recommendation is even better than the last one. It’s impossible to find good coffee in Europe and this place is just a must if you’re a coffee maniac)) I think all the coffee is roasted by this coffee shop, so it’s also nice. If needed, beans will be grinded for whatever tool you use to make coffee (e.g. I use French press and get specifically this type of grind).

Staff speaks English and that’s...
