First the good news. The atmosphere was nice,  great for a date night or dinner with friends. The kitchen crew was amazing, pumping out orders at rapid pace but taking care to make sure every order was properly prepared. Our Sea Bream and Sea Bass were cooked perfectly!

Bad news. Our waiter forgot to enter our order so we patiently watched orders leave the kitchen for 45 mins before he finally came over to ask us for our order again. Smh. We repeated our order, including warm appetizers and soup, but when he tried to hand cold octopus instead of warm grilled octopus, we decided to cancel the appetizers and wait on the fish. He seemed to be ashamed for his error of going on break instead of entering our order, but instead of offering a simple apology, he just ditched us the remainder of the evening. He didn't even make eye contact as he serviced tables nearby. A different waiter brought our food and the young lady that cleared the table was very pleasant. However we had to flag down random workers in passing to get our check because our original waiter never returned.

So we'd return for the fish but would definitely request a...

We liked it. Not all of it, but we liked it. Meaning that the fish broth was really pleasant and well done. The swordfish carpaccio maybe normally is good, I do not know, but that night has been served too cold therefore all the flavors got lost. Then we got fried calamari that were not oily, well prepared and not heavy at all, so definitely a success there. And finally the John Dory fillet in a caper sauce, where the sauce was a bit overpowering the fish but nonetheless tasted really smooth and delicate. The wine was nothing to write home about. The price was fair and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, that is really warm and features a view on the kitchen while the other side looks at the street: really well put together. The waiters were particularly...

This Croatian restaurant in Vienna was a true surprise. From the very first moment, the atmosphere transports you to the Dalmatian coast: warm decor and the aroma of homemade cooking that immediately whets your appetite.

The menu offers an excellent selection of traditional Croatian dishes, prepared with authenticity and rich flavor. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and lovingly presented. The fresh seafood and the quality of the ingredients truly make a difference.

The service was very friendly and efficient—always attentive without being intrusive. Additionally, the wine list includes some Croatian gems that pair perfectly with the dishes.

An ideal place for those who miss the flavors of the Adriatic or want to discover the richness of Croatian cuisine without...

4.85 - The dishes I ordered were absolutely gorgeous, particularly the truffe penne. It went beyond my expectation. Thanks for the recommendation from the staff. P.S. I even went to another popular place (in a different country) and tried out a similar dish like this. However, this one is far more better in term of the truffle quality, texture of pasta and taste/ creaminess of its sauce. In addition, their seafood are very fresh. Definitely worth trying their grilled dishes here. Mine was grilled anglerfish which tasted like lobster tail for the first few bites. Lastly, when I was about to leave the restaurant, the manager/ or owner even gave me a shot (liquor) on the house as a gesture of goodwill. Very pleasant dining experience.
