Apparently the place is “hit or miss” depending on the mood of the owner on the day. We unfortunately clearly were in the “miss” category. After about one hour we were finally allowed to “order” but this is a strong word because basically the boss tells you what he thinks you should eat. The starter (raw fish and seafood) was ok but nothing outstanding, second course was again ok (artichoke). When the fish finally arrived about two hours after we placed our order (in the meantime we had been told several times that it was “almost ready” which it was clearly not) it was again edible but far away from an amazing fish like you would get at Lublin for example. When we complained about the wait the boss got angry it seems, he did not apologise, instead he just left the bill on the table without saying a word. The fact that it is a cash only place (how is that still allowed?) fits well into the picture. I guess you can have a nice experience there if (i) the boss is in a good mood, (ii) you are prepared to eat and behave exactly the way he wants and (iii) if you want to support the “cash economy”, otherwise probably best to go to one of the other fish...
Read moreWhen visiting a friend in Vienna we had the pleasure to eat in this Mediterranean gem of a restaurant! The entire concept is designed for guests to feel like they are in the Adriatic having one of the best seafood meals ever. The food was coming in 5 courses and the timing was perfect. The best thing was that we let ourselves in the hands of the main chef and owner Ante to choose our food and be surprised with every plate that was placed in front of us. The freshness and taste of the food was brought to perfection. Service was pleasant and professional but with a homemade atmosphere. I could write an entire essay about the experience but you have to live it yourself. It is not a restaurant for a quick meal but for an exquisite culinary adventure. I highly recommend...
Read moreWent there during covid time, few weeks after the opening. Unfortunately had a bad experience as they had to close early, meaning we couldn’t really finish our dinner: skipped the second main dish as well as dessert. The waiter wasn’t sorry at all, she should have communicated better about the closing time while giving the menu… And not 5mn before their closing time at the same time as bringing in the Bill, while we were waiting for the main dish (Branzino) for over 25mn already (we never saw the Branzino, the kitchen apparently didn’t even take the time to start it…)!! The little food we were allowed to taste timewise, was good, however...
