Schikaneder — Restaurant in Vienna

We were only in Vienna for two nights but went to this bar for a drink both of them. Really nice feel and it plays films throughout the evening, with no sound, sort of as an USP more than anything else but it's cool. Trendy/hipster type clientele. Definitely one of the best places for talking, drinking & having fun. The bar has good prices and there are a few seating areas with couches and the best of all is a very long bench on one side of a wall, opposite and parallel to the bar. Little bit grungy, almost as if it got stuck in the 90s, but very cozy for a chit chat with a friend/s as the music is very chilled (jazz kinda vibe), tasteful and not too loud. From my experience, the staff were very friendly and honestly the coffee was surprisingly good also! Definitely recommend checking this place out I'd you need to get out of the cold for a tea/coffee.
