Unfortunately, the decent food was far overshadowed by the horrible service in this restaurant.

I've been here twice, the first time it was relatively busy and it took nearly two hours (no exaggeration) to get our food. I assumed it was just because it was a busy Saturday evening, so I went with some friends to try it again.

The second time, we arrived right at 18:00 for the beginning of happy hour, and everything was fine until we were to pay. I was charged full price for the drink I ordered because we were aparrently 4 minutes early. I was irritated but said I would pay for the drink and the waitress then began to belittle me and my friends for showing up early, before the restaurant opened and ruining her break. Every time I tried to explain that she was being rude and I would pay the full price, I was just confused, she continued to belittle my friends and I and was incredibly rude to us until we left.

I'm used to waiters being less friendly in Vienna than in other places, but this was ridiculous. I will NOT be...

Main dishes were okay other than that, nothing else worked. The shrimp entree had whiskey in it which was supposed to be burned but no, it was just whiskey and shrimps. Usually it should say in the menu if alcohol is used in the food. I would be very thoughtful about ordering food if I had kids with me. However the drinks were great. Atmosphere was nice too with ambient lighting. Ultimately, after paying and tipping a bit less than 10-15% the short haired male waiter with glasses started asking for more and asking was that really all. It was almost like in one of those tourist scams where they start to harass for money after. Talking about being entitled. Thanks for ruining the dinner. Maybe he tried to shake us down as we aren't German or Austrian. I would definitely avoid this place even if it was the last restaurant left...
